Alemania — Becas Science Tour “Research in Germany” 2016: 'City of the Future FUENTE: DAAD OBJETIVO: En el marco del Science Tour, el DAAD financia el viaje a Alemania de una delegación compuesta por investigadores y científicos extranjeros, el cual tundra como tema “City of the Future”. The Partnership for Conflict, Crime and Security Research (PaCCS) (opens in new window) is running two calls for research proposals under its Conflict theme

Interdisciplinary Innovation Awards: £100,000 (fEC)



Interdisciplinary Research Grants: £800,000 (fEC)

Interdisciplinary Innovation Awards: full proposals supporting the development of innovative, adventurous, higher risk, interdisciplinary research, including projects at an earlier stage of interdisciplinary evolution and/or led by early career researchers. The types of interdisciplinary proposal supported under this heading could include, for example, exploratory or pilot studies and/or support for the development of new interdisciplinary partnerships and collaborations. These proposals can address any topic of relevance to the PaCCS conflict theme; they may address the three areas outlined for the larger interdisciplinary grants but do not need to be restricted to these areas. Interdisciplinary Research Grants: outline proposals addressing the three interdisciplinary research areas detailed in this call which have emerged from the consultation as areas where there is strong potential for innovative interdisciplinary research between the arts and humanities and social sciences. The common aim of the two calls is to support research on conflict which is high quality, innovative, cutting edge, interdisciplinary and has significant potential impact and which addresses the wider objectives and principles of

Destacadas Alemania — FRIAS COFUND Fellowship Programme (FCFP) FUENTE: European Union - University of Freiburg OBJETIVO: The FCFP is intended for current or future leaders in their fields. Applications are invited from academics of all nationalities who may not have resided or have carried out their main activity in Germany for more than a total of 12 months during the 3 years prior to the deadline. The programme offers outstanding research opportunities, not only in the research environment of an internationally highly competitive university, but also with the advantage of being part of an interdisciplinary community of fellows at FRIAS.

(on the basis of state regulations for removal expenditures, max. 1.500 Euro) can be refunded. An additional contribution to accommodation in Freiburg may be part of the fellowship package (only in the “senior scheme - on paid leave”). 4. OBJETIVO: The aim of this fellowship program is to offer small teams of two or more scholars the opportunity to collaborate intensively on a single, substantive project. The fellowship supports projects that produce a tangible research product (such as joint print or web publica-tions) for which two or more collaborators will take credit.

MONTO A SUBVENCIONAR: The fellowships provide up to $60,000 in salary replace-ment for each collaborator as well as up to $20,000 in collaboration funds. Amount will depend on the number of collaborators and the duration of the research leaves but will not exceed $200,000 for any one project.

OBJETIVO: The Matsumae International Foundation (MIF) is a nongovernmental organization. Its Fund is solely based on donations from many Japanese people who have responded with goodwill to Dr. Shigeyoshi Matsumae's call. While many donations have been kindly offered by enterprises and groups, most of the donors are individuals who are sympathetic with the Founder's ideals, and maintain contributions to the Fund from their limited incomes.

MONTO A SUBVENCIONAR: Fellowships are provided for successful applicants only, and intended for necessary living expenses and research activities in Japan.
