Lee Park, Charlottesville Walk Pre-Registration: Jan. 26—April 29 Walk Registration: April 30, 8:30 a.m.—9:45 a.m. Walk Kick-Off: 10 a.m. Post-Walk Party in the Park: 11 a.m.—12:30 p.m.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES: 1. GENERAL SET UP: Meet in Lee Park at 7 a.m. to help set up tables, tents, etc. 2. DOGGIE DO CREW/WALK PATROL: Meet in Lee Park by 9:45 a.m. to help walk in front of, midway and behind walkers. Spot checking walkers pick up after their dogs and collecting pick-up bags. 3. DIRECTING WALKERS: Meet in Lee Park by
4. WATER STATION HELPERS: Meet in Lee Park by 9 a.m. to help man the water table to hand out water to walkers. 5. SCOOP DOGGIE ICE CREAM: Meet in Lee Park by 11 a.m. to help hand out samples of doggie ice cream to dogs. 6. PARK PICK-UP: Meet in Lee Park at noon to help pack up tables, chairs and other misc. supplies.
