Personal Brand & Identity for 2020

Personal Logo / Business Cards Client: Personal Branding With a new decade came a need to refresh a branding identity, including a necessary update for personalised business cards. The new branding needed to create the presence of my own personality to bring in new potential work-place opportunities. A simple palate for the business logo reflects the direction in which I take much of my professional design decisions as well as a hint towards my passion for revival of heritage qualities in design. The logo has been inspired by 1920’s line-work and building window frames which became finer and more geometric. In keeping with the architectural aesthetic, the back of the business cards reflect a zen-like simplicity of texture through paper selection and letter press detailing to mimic textures found in plaster or concrete.

Hex-Popcorn-Box Client : Detmold As part of the Detmold Packaging Generic base range. This range is selected by clients who prefer non-branded packaging which is still visually interesting for consumers. A product used by small-scale cinemas, the graphic was developed to have a ‘vintage’ cinema feel but with popcorn which visually looks lto be spilling out of the packaging.

Coffee Cup / Texture finish Client : Confidential To create a distinct and unique identity to their brand, this Australia-wide cafe company wanted to develop a graphic and cup which would grab attention while remaining consistent with their company branding styles. This was also an opportunity for Detmold to explore introducing embossed or varnish (glossy) texture to their coffee cup range to distinguish us from our competitors. In keeping with the clients branding guidelines, a shake-skin graphic was developed and used to create the glossy texture finish, to fulfill the clients brief for a ‘expensive handbag-like feel’

Concept Bread Bag Client : Confidential The client wanted to explore possible bag concepts which could have much of the product visible with a clear window film on one half of the bag. Because this significantly reduced the print area, a simple graphic was created to illustrate the layout for graphics to be placed continuously within the single paper sided gutter of the bag as well as a fold up base with the primary logo and information displayable.

This range is selected by clients who prefer non-branded packaging which is still visually interesting for consumers.
