SEHNSUCHT NACH SOMMER. Eigentlich ist es doch jedes Jahr dasselbe – auch wenn alle Jahreszeiten ihre eigenen Vorzüge haben (und gewisse Defizite, so ehrlich muss man schon sein), so wartet man auf den Sommer gemeinhin voller Ungeduld. Was uns zu einem Nachteil des Sommers bringt, den es bei uns hier oben in Oberlech aber gar nicht gibt: die Hitze nämlich. Sommer, Sonne, Berge und angenehme Temperaturen – das alles könnte eher heute als morgen beginnen. Die Wärme, die Weite, das Wandern. When you think about it, it’s the same every year – even if every season has its advantages (and, let’s be honest, its disadvantages as well), we usually look forward to summer with impatience. So why should that be? Most likely because a day with sunshine is usually a better day. Which leads us to one of the disadvantages of summer, although it’s not one that we here in Oberlech ever experience: the heat. Die BURG ist in jeder Hinsicht ein Familienhotel. Zum einen, weil unsere Familie die BURG in der mittlerweile dritten Generation führt. Zum anderen, weil wir genau wissen, was Familien mit Kindern brauchen, um ihren Urlaub zur Erholung werden zu lassen. Alle Freiheiten, Zeit zusammen zu verbringen, oder auch mal ohne Kinder (oder Eltern) zu genießen.
The BURG is a family hotel in every respect. On the one hand because our family is the third generation to be running it. And on the other because we know exactly what families with children need for a holiday to be relaxing. Every freedom to spend time together – or, occasionally, to enjoy being alone together without the children (or parents ...).

Spaß im Lecher Waldbad | Ein Schwimmbad, das aussieht wie ein Bergsee. Aber das Wasser ist viel wärmer. Zum Spielen laden eine kleine Felsinsel und eine tolle Wasserrutsche ein. Außerdem gibt’s ein großes Planschbecken zum Herumtollen und ein neues Kinderbecken.
Fun at Lech’s Forest Pool | A swimming pool that looks like a mountain lake. But the water is much warmer. For playing, there is a small rock island and a fabulous water slide. There’s also a large splash pool for fun and games, and a new pool for children.
Kinderklettern am Rüfikopf | Erfahrene Bergführer zeigen, was man beim Klettern alles beachten muss. An einem ungefährlichen Boulder-Felsen lässt sich das prima üben.
Children’s climbing on the Rüfikopf | Experienced mountain guides tell you what you need to take into account when climbing. And you can then practise on a nice, safe boulder rock.
Kinder-Schluchtenwandern | Ihre Kinder bekommen die gesamte Ausrüstung. Mit professionellen Bergführern werden abenteuerliche Schluchten erkundet.
Gorge walking for children | Your children will be provided with all the equipment they need for exploring exciting gorges with professional mountain guides.

Canyoning | Explore mysterious ravines with a helmet, rope and neoprene suit – a daring leap into the icy water included! Children must be 8 years of age to canyon.
Schon mal einen dicken Fisch an der Angel gehabt? | Beim Fischteich in Zug bekommen die Kinder alles, was sie zum erfolgreichen Fischen brauchen.
Ever had a really big one on your line? | At the fishing pond in Zug, children will be provided with everything they need for some successful fishing.
Bogenschießen | Ob alleine oder mit den Guides von Arlberg Alpin – auf unserem Parcours lässt sich der Umgang mit dem traditionellen Bogen erlernen und perfektionieren. Der Bogensport fördert Konzentration und Ausdauer und ist für Kinder ab 6 Jahren geeignet.
Archery | Whether alone or with the guides from Arlberg Alpin, children can learn and perfect their skills with a traditional bow and arrow on our course. Archery requires concentration and endurance, and is suitable for children from 6 years of age.
Picknick und Lagerfeuer | Am Lech-Uferweg entlang gibt es große Steine zum Hinaufklettern und tolle Plätze direkt am Fluss – für schöne Lagerfeuer oder kleine Pausen.
Picnic and camp-fire | All along the banks of the Lech there are large rocks to climb, and some fabulous spots right beside the river – for lovely camp-fires or short rests.
Im Burgwald Bike-Trail | Ältere Kinder, die gerne mit dem Mountainbike unterwegs sind, erleben auf der ersten offiziellen Freeride- und Endurostrecke Vorarlbergs den besonderen Reiz. Es gibt verschiedene Schwierigkeitsstufen für jedes fahrerische Niveau.
The Burgwald bike trail | Older children who like being out on their mountain bikes will enjoy the thrills offered on the Arlberg’s first official freeride and enduro route. There are several levels of difficulty for riders of every ability. Inline skates and skateboard Funpark | The mirrorsmooth course is ideal for perfect rounds or managing a few obstacles. The cool kids meet at the Skater Funpark.

We launched this event in 2010 with tremendous enthusiasm, and are very pleased to be continuing it. The idea of bringing young winegrowers to the heart of the top gastronomy of the Arlberg and giving them the opportunity to introduce themselves to guests and gourmets in a relaxed environment was tremendously well received on all sides.

Wir bitten Sie, am Abreisetag Ihr Zimmer bis 12:00 Uhr frei zu geben. Je nach Verfügbarkeit ist ein früherer Check-In oder ein späterer Check-Out möglich. RESERVIERUNG Um Ihre Reservierung zu garantieren, benötigen wir Ihre Kreditkartennummer bzw. für einen Aufenthalt ab drei Nächten eine Anzahlung in Höhe von 30 % des Reisepreises. During the summer opening times, it is easy to drive to Oberlech by a private road. Parking places and free garage parking are available at the hotel. We ask you please to vacate your room by 12 noon on the day of your departure. Earlier check-in or later check-out may be possible depending on availability. RESERVATIONS In order to guarantee your reservation, we need your credit card number or, for visits of three nights or more, a deposit of 30% of the trip price. Reservations may be cancelled up to one month before the agreed arrival date without a cancellation charge. For cancellations up to one week before arrival there will be a cancellation charge of 3 days. For cancellations less than a week before arrival, up to 80% of the trip price may be charged (as per the Austrian Hotel Regulations).
