Grandchildlessness

Research participants wanted!

Have you reached a time in your life where you thought you would have grandchildren, but that hasn’t happened? Current research suggests that rates of childlessness are increasing in Australia, which means that some parents will also remain grandchildless. At present we know little about what this means for people who were hoping and expecting to become grandparents. If this is your situation, I would like to hear about your experience. My name is Olivia Marshall and I am a Master of Psychology student at Edith Cowan University. Participation in this research will involve a one hour interview at a mutually agreed time and place. To be eligible, you must be over 50; a year must have passed since you learned you would not have grandchildren; and you must not currently be engaged in counselling/therapy in relation to this issue. All information will remain confidential. If you would like to participate, please contact: Mobile 0484 713 205 or email ojohnson@our.ecu.edu.au
