CAVAGO ASSOCIATED CHAMPIONSHIPS: CHANGES FOR 2022

The Cavago Associated Championships, which celebrate the great diversity of horses and ponies competing in BD competition, will feature a number of changes for 2022. We’re delighted to add a new category this year – side saddle – and taking on board members’ feedback have made the following revisions to how the classes work: • There’s no longer a requirement to join another relevant society; however, we recommend that if you, or your horse, is eligible you keep up your membership for the benefi ts or news. • At the two Championships, classes will be run as one section with separate awards i.e. overall rosettes for fi rst to tenth with a sash to the overall champion, then the highest placed Bronze,

Silver and Gold combination in each class will receive a rosette and sash. • The Forces Equine championship classes, which have run as part of the wider series, will now be incorporated in the Vale View-hosted fi xture (09 – 13 November).

ARE YOUR REGISTRATIONS UP TO DATE?

This is a polite reminder that horses, riders and owners should be registered before entering BD competitions. Organisers may take late entries at their discretion however the onus is on the competitor to ensure all parties are registered prior to the entry being accepted.

Due to the high volume of registrations at peak times, we advise you allow three working days for postal registrations to be processed. Alternatively, you can join/renew online at britishdressage.co.uk/ membership.

Those who compete without being registered will not be covered by BD members’ insurance and their results will be excluded. Repeat offenders may be fi ned.
