AN HANG YOU C

Wasn’t the Women’s March awesome, y’all? It was such a great day, but let’s be real: one hang with 175,000 of your new best friends isn’t going to cut it for the next four years. Think of the Women’s March like an early date: you had a good time, took a bunch of wi th Je nnie Rose H a l pe rin selfies, and wore matching hats, but you’re not in a relationship yet. The coolest thing about this date, though, is how easy it is to take this relationship to the next level. There are many organizations around Boston looking for people to swipe right, and chances are it’ll be a match. If you’re overwhelmed and don’t know where to get started, try going on a double date: attend a meeting with a friend for an organization like Black Lives Matter or Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ). If volunteerism is more your thing, go cruising: scope out nonprofits serving communities directly. If you’re looking for something casual, that’s cool too! Show up to rallies, follow the leads of organizers, and ask how you can support others while you’re there. Fighting this will take all of us, so don’t ghost the movement with a flippant text or Facebook post. Like any good relationship, this is going to take some work. Howdy, howdy readers, In Punk news... advance copies of the Video Filth/Mutant Itch split ep on We’re super stoked to jump into the new year with big news!
