We met in Cleveland at an Indians game one month before Karl was returning back to Germany. It was love at first sight! I visited him in Berlin 2 months later and we spent the next 2+ years visiting each other in Cleveland, Berlin, Key West, Mexico... wherever we could meet! We absolutely loved Key West when we visited last year so we decided to visit again once we were both living in the same place!

auren & Karl live in Germany, but they chose the USA's southernmost city for their engagement session! They started their morning at the historical Hemingway House, where one of the famous cats jumped right into Lauren's lap. After, they strolled through Bahama Village, where they tried on some hats, and ended up in the beautiful Fort Zachary Taylor State Park.

Inspiration A Dockside Affair This nautical-inspired shoot at the Lakeland Yacht & Country Club is a modern twist on the 1960s. The team of talented vendors set two different scenes: the "reception" outside overlooking the dock and Lake Hollingsworth, and an"after party" inside the club with cocktails, hors d'oeuvres and cakes and cupcakes.

nnie and Latigo came across their venue, Patrick Ranch Museum, completely by chance, but they quickly decided it was the perfect place for the farmer's daughter to marry the all-American cowboy. Their ceremony was performed under a beautiful old oak tree, followed by a reception in the barn.

Noteworthy Details Window Frames & Hashtags
The couple repurposed a window frame for their handwritten seating chart and asked wedding guests to use their #hextwedding hashtag on social media!
Keeping it Cool
Guests were treated to ice cold beverages straight from the old-fashioned bath tub filled with ice.
Vintage Collections
The bride's mother's collectibles were displayed throughout the ceremony and reception in the form of vintage mirrors, milk glass and vintage silver. In addition, the couple used mason jars, shabby chic doors and frames to complete the look.
Wheat
Wheat was used as a central theme throughout the day - in centerpieces and in the couple's portraits because it symbolizes their agricultural backgrounds and matches the filigree on Annie's ring.

van and Michael exchanged vows at The Spirit of Aloha Oceanfront Botanical Gardens, a gorgeous venue nestled in a lush valley on Maui's north shore on a historic site called Keali'i Nui (The Highest Royalty). The gardens are set atop the cliffs of Uaoa Bay overlooking Papanui o Kane! Surrounded by tropical flora and roaming peacocks, they couldn't have asked for a more stunning wedding day.

he inspiration for this styled shoot in Sonoma County was a fashionable and modern bride with romantic and relaxed sensibilities. The color inspiration came from the navy and coral statement necklace by designer Leslie Danzis. Modern details, such as ghost chairs and sequined table runners, were paired with a nontraditional metallic gown for the bride and a pink peplum dress for the bridesmaid. To tie fashion and a farm setting together, they included updated takes on romantic details like swan cake toppers, a quatrefoil motif in the chair pillows and dinnerware, and a gorgeous navy blue Kate Middleton-inspired engagement ring.
