Welcome to ‘Country Matters’ In the Landbased and Leisure Department we pride ourselves in providing a friendly supportive learning environment. Our courses are designed not only to give students knowledge and skills in their subject areas, but also to develop as an effective member of the community. Employers demand a high level of skill, qualifications and personal qualities from employees and the Department works hard to help students meet this requirement. We are always keen to engage with employers through a range of stakeholder activities and I would be pleased to discuss this further with anyone interested in becoming involved in our stakeholder network.
