Whosoever receives the goodness and grace of God is able to enter a state of being that is like no other. God allows your surrender into His bosom to be a safe place for you to find the rest and comfort that you need. This world is chaotic enough all on its own. II Timothy 1:7 reminds us that “God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and ofa sound mind”.

The gift has been given, but you have to receive it, open it, and use it. It’s a personal gift too with your name on it. Just like you wouldn’t let a sibling take your Christmas gift and open it, don’t let the enemy take the gift that is you. On days when you think that you aren’t strong enough to overcome, remember that you have power. On the days when you feel unloveable, remember that you are loved. And on the days when your mind is jumbled with uncertainty and doubt, remember that you have a sound mind.

There comes a time to shine and your shine means that you do not hide in the shadows. You were created in God’s image, so if THE CREATOR of the universe loves you and all that He placed in you, then surely it is time for you to love yourself. Open yourself up to allow God in. Whosoever receives that fear is no longer their home can now walk in victory, love, and light. As we come up on Trans Day of Remembrance, then we are to honor those we have lost by knowing that we valuable, precious, awesome, and amazing. Receive your greatness!
