Kate Falchi is the president and head designer of Carlos Falchi Couture, the iconic handbag company founded by her late father and known for its chic designs. Kate’s designs have been featured everywhere from WWD to Vogue and The New York Times with celebrity fans including Blake Lively, Rihanna and Kourtney Kardashian.
1. CARLOS FALCHI COUTURE HAS BEEN IN YOUR FAMILY FOR DECADES. CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT THE BRAND TODAY? Carlos Falchi Couture has always stood for innovation in design, quality of product, and cutting edge color. The product is made entirely in the US and we hand paint every single skin versus buying stock. We take great pride in our product. The product today is edgier and has a more youthful slant than it has been in years passed. We allow for customization and cater to each store’s needs.
2. WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT PRICE RANGES IN THE COLLECTION? The price ranges from $250 and up to $70,000; we have recently added a leather collection, which will premiere at EDIT.
3. WHAT ARE YOU MOST EXCITED TO SHOW FOR FALL 2016? An entirely new collection that I am really excited to showcase. It is a great opportunity to show what the new Falchi looks like.
