Eric began his career in the yachting industry over 20 years ago and he has gained a wealth of experience after sailing on some of the most performant yachts in the industry. Having grown up in the South of France, Eric’s knowledge of sailboats is combined with his extensive world-wide network within the industry itself. He has both the connections and the background to deliver whatever his guests desire and is well able to create bespoke itineraries that meet individual needs. As a leader, he is mature, calm, positive, and brings a strong can-do attitude to the team. He now cannot wait to introduce you to FANCY so he can share his passion for sailing and create memorable experiences with guests.
Born in Brittany, Erwan is a passionate and eclectic chef, mixing the traditional French cuisine with international flavours, always keeping in mind the location of the boat, sourcing the most local and fresh produce to create his menu. After working on cruise ships and being exposed to dishes from around the world, Erwan incorporates these ideas into his menus, aiming for a fusion between showcasing local ingredients with intercontinental tastes. He is an ambitious chef and has a passion for lifelong learning. Over his time on board, he has developed and enhanced his skills, always smiling and helping out in any areas required. As an integral part of the FANCY team, Erwan aims to delight the guests with his creativity and flair, always available and very aware of the individual needs.
Job Description Eric is responsible for the navigation, safety, the overall running and financial management of the vessel, crew and guests. He ensures the safe and efficient operation of the yacht at all times, including compliance with all safety procedures and regulations. He takes care of adhering to flag regulations, port, state, and local laws and regulations, and manages the crew to ensure adherence to, and a full understanding of, the vessel’s policies.

As the Chef, Erwan is responsible for the crew and guest meals throughout the charter, ensuring that the food is enjoyable, the interior of the yacht is clean and serviceable and that all dietary requirements are met. He is a creative cook, varying his meals to provide variety and according to the location of FANCY in order to have as much relevance as possible to the country being visited.

Born and raised in the South of France, Sebastien spent his childhood on or near the sea. Once he had graduated, he took to the waves again in his first yachting position. Since then, he has climbed his way up, being steadily promoted and rewarded for his hard work and diligence. Sebastien is an enthusiastic person and very passionate about the beauty of the ocean and the yachting lifestyle. He is very much a team player and likes to channel his energy into getting the job done, whatever that may be. In his spare time, he is equally active whether it is in water sports, seeing friends, travelling, or any activity exploring the great outdoors.
Lena grew up in Brittany with sailing at the heart of her lifestyle. Fluent in French and English with some notion of Spanish, she is able to communicate and integrate wherever she goes. Lena has some solid experience in the hospitality sector prior to starting in yachting. She has now gained some sailing experience on various boats and is keen to learn more. She is passionate and thrives on the small details and guests’ satisfaction. She is always happy and purposeful; she loves to be active and has a great work ethic.
Job Description Sebastien is responsible for all the machinery onboard, including all control, maintenance and repair systems. He manages all working engines, the generator and any electronics systems, as well as the plumbing and hydraulic system. He also regularly assists the Captain and the First Mate in their duties, which includes navigation watch, radar control and transatlantic communication.
Lena is responsible for organization, management and cleanliness of all interiors. She maintains an accurate inventory of all service items and supplies. She ensures cleaning and preparation of the vessel to the highest standards prior to any and all guest trips. In charge of vessel provisioning for both guests and crew, and all aspects of daily life. When guests are onboard, Lena ensures they are properly cared for and that all their requirements are met.

Olivia Beaumelou Stewardess AMERICAN/FRENCH Sail and work experience Olivia has always been close to the industry, living between Florida and South of France. With her bubbly and caring personality, Olivia was a project manager and producer for a technology company for 3 years, however her first passion was always the sea. Her curiosity and need for adventure made her jump ship and start her career in yachting. She quickly gained some experience on various yachts. With a hard-working attitude and ability to deliver great service, she aims to make sure that your stay on FANCY will be the most remarkable experience. In her spare time, she enjoys sports, reading books and swimming in the ocean.
