Barcelona seems to be a very dog-friendly city, judging by the amount of people walking their dogs on every street and playing in the squares and parks. However, if you find yourself yearning for some feline vibes, check out some of these spots around Barcelona.

ADMIRE THE RAVAL CAT Walking through the Raval neighbourhood without stumbling upon this gigantic bronze cat statue would prove quite difficult. Designed by the Colombian artist Fernando Botero, this public art sculpture serves as a common meeting place for friends and essential selfie partner. GAUDÍ’S CATS Park Güell is not only home to some of Gaudí’s most alluring architecture and spectacular views of the city, but also to several stray cats and a few lucky ones who live nearby and enjoy going for a wander. ELS QUATRE GATS This restaurant takers its name from a Catalan phrase meaning “only a few people.” Inspired by a Parisian tavern, Els Quatre Gats opened its doors in 1897 and has since operated as a cabaret, hostel, pub, and restaurant.
