Tourists, Travelers, & Adventure-seekers... Om swastiastu. Welcome to our July issue!

July is the true start of Bali’s ‘dry season’ and one of the best months to be on the island. With an average of 10 hours of sunshine a day, July is one of the driest months with cooler, pleasant temperatures to match. The average temperature in July is 27°C and ocean temperatures also remain steady at 27°C - perfect temperatures for a refreshing dip in the ocean.

We strongly recommend taking advantage of these times and visiting somewhere you haven’t been before. With much less traffic on the island these days, getting to most places is a breeze. Bali will bounce back (we hope soon) and you may never be able to enjoy these quiet roads, sites and properties like this again, so get out there and enjoy it!

Check out our Hot Deals section for a great idea to spend a relaxing day at the Reef Beach Club at the exclusive Apurva Kempinski Bali, one of the island’s most talked about resorts.

In our Don’t Miss section, learn about two of the most important days in the Balinese calendar: Saraswati and Pagerwesi. Also discover why on Tumpek Landep, you will see cars and motorbikes adorned with offerings – hanging on the front of vehicles or dangling from side mirrors. These offerings are an indication that the object has been blessed and yet another example of how unique Bali truly is…
