Please provide a brief history of the company: Formerly Thoroughbred Carpets which was opened in 1994 by Joe’s dad Rich and another. Joe bought the business in 2015 and together with his wife, Ellie, they bought a new building in 2018, moved and also rebranded the company to be Huffman Flooring Design Center which officially opened its doors in October 2018. How many employees do you have? Four Tell us a little about your business. We specialize in flooring carpet, laminate, hardwood (solid & engineered), luxury vinyl, luxury sheet vinyl, tile. We also carry Cambria countertops, granite & marble countertops, Graber window fashions & area rugs. We have vacuums and backsplashes as well. What are some of the new things your business is doing? We’ve been able to grow our team with the addition of Ellie, Paul & Nikki, we have started offering more products to make our store more of a one stop shop for your home design needs. Designer services are also now being offered. Ellie can help design your latest project.
What sets you apart from other companies and why? We take pride in your project. We see it through starting with finding the right products for your style, budget and needs. We follow through until your project is complete. That’s the plus when shopping a small business. You have us on your side to help! What are your goals for the upcoming year? Our goal is to continue to grow throughout our community. We want to expand
our new design services and continue to help our clients with their home project dreams.
