Please provide a brief history of the company: SEMA stands for South East Minnesota Agriculture and the name was born in 2005 after a multi-dealership merger took place to better serve our customers. The merge included Isenberg Equipment in Spring Valley and Leroy, Deer Valley in Wanamingo, St. Charles Equipment in St. Charles, and Plainview Equipment in Plainview. In the years following the merger, three additional dealerships joined SEMA-- Persinger’s Equipment of Austin in 2008, Northfield Tractor & Equipment of Northfield in 2011, and Green Power Equipment of Caledonia in 2011.

Equipment and Trimax Mowing Systems. In addition to genuine John Deere parts, we also provide parts and service for all of our products lines and even other brands of equipment. Our service department repairs and maintains the full line of John Deere equipment and offers mobile service for both large and small equipment. What are some of the new things your business is doing? What are you most proud to tell customers, and why? Our new Ready-to-Mow trailer allows us to provide annual maintenance for homeowners at their home so they don’t have to bother with hauling their mowers into the dealership. Of course, we also offer pick-up and delivery service for larger repairs. With Ready-to-Mow, customers just need to give us a call and we’ll put them on the schedule. They can schedule annual or bi-annual maintenance, especially if they are using their mower for the winter months with a snowblower. We also have several new parts drop sites available for customers if they can’t make it into the store. You can see our parts delivery sites at https://www.semaequip.com/parts/parts-delivery-sites.php What sets you apart from other companies, and why? At SEMA, our goal with the new Grand Meadow store is to provide the ultimate John Deere experience to our customers. In our eyes, that means the highest quality equipment, exceptional parts availability, and impeccable customer service. With a brand-new building, we hope that we can provide the kind of environment that our employees and customers deserve. We strive to make each and every one of our customers feel like our ONLY customer and appreciate the fact that they’ve chosen to do business with us
