Owner(s) of the business: Brothers, Al Greenman and Steve Greenman Please provide a brief history of the company: Cliff Greenman Distributing began in 1960, operating the company from home, and selling and servicing Majestic fireplaces and Gravely tractors. In 1965, Cliff purchased the Mill Building from Hormel, which was located east of the 4th Avenue NE dam. Lennox heating and cooling products were added to the business, along with asphalt roofing, and the company grew to 15 employees. On January 29, 1967 the building was destroyed by a fire. Business continued and Cliff retired in 1981, with sons Alan and Steve remaining on. In 1984 the lawn and garden business was dropped to focus on the heating, cooling, and sheet metal demands. Greenman HVAC tradition continues today, our family cares about your family.
