Name of the business: Johnny’s Skillet Owner(s) of the business: John Clark Please provide a brief history of the company: John started cooking in 1962. He opened Johnny’s Main Event in 1982, and ran that until he moved to our current location in 2012. He re-named the cafe to Johnny’s Skillet. John has always been famous for his “Spam” menu which attracts several tourists from all over. How many employees do you have? 5

Tell us a little about your business. We specialize in quality homemade food served extremely fast. All of our daily specials, soups, salads & desserts are made from scratch. Old school dishes like scalloped potatoes & ham, meatloaf, spaghetti, goulash and bread pudding with carmel sauce just to name a few. Everything on the menu is affordable with nothing being more than $10.00.

What are some of the new things your business is doing? We recently increased our daily hours to open earlier and close later. We host several different groups for their weekly or monthly get togethers. We are proud to tell our customers that all of us at Johnny’s work hard to make sure every customer leaves with a full belly and a smile on their face feeling like they just had a home cooked meal at grandma’s house.

We are a small establishment that as soon as you walk in the door we do our best to make you feel at home, whether your in a rush or want to visit for awhile we can serve you a homemade quality meal in minutes.
