COMMUNITY OUTREACH POLICY

Outreach and philanthropy are core values to AREAA. This chapter is well-versed in this arena. Two years in a row, this chapter has done an incredible job at organizing their membership for Community Outreach events. Members come together and give back to their community through organized acts of service. This award recognizes the AREAA chapter with the greatest efforts in giving back to their community. AREAA is pleased to award Greater East Bay with the Community Outreach Award! AREAA’s 2022 Diversity and Fair Housing Summit was a record-breaking success. It was an incredible experience to see the energy and numbers that we brought to DC, especially since it was the first time for many of attendees. We had the opportunity to meet with our lawmakers, whether in person or via zoom, and present our 3 Policy Points before them. This year, we want to recognize a chapter that played a key role in driving attendance, organizing with other chapters, and effectively articulate AREAA’s policy goals to their representatives. We are proud to award AREAA Boston with the Policy Award.
