Methologica

Methologica (formerly CARE) was founded by Dr. Celeste Alvaro, an experimental social psychologist with an academic appointment as an Adjunct Professor in the Department of Architectural Science at Ryerson University. Based in Toronto, Methologica is an applied design research and evaluation firm that specializes in assessing how the design of the built environment impacts human behavior, social interaction and well-being. Methologica is best known for its experience in pre and post occupancy evaluations of healthcare facilities, staff, visitor and community user experience research, and patient experience research covering complex continuing care, rehabilitation, mental health, and aging. However, Methologica is equipped to evaluate a variety of settings that can include healthcare facilities, hotels and resorts, airports, sports and performance venues, urban design and retail commercial spaces.
