The 2019 colt Al Din Rumii (Zima x Ridgecrest Jaliia), owned and photographed by Beate Ammer, Queensland, Australia. “My purebred Arabian colt is very quiet and relaxed in nature and a very smart learner,“ says Beate. ”On the day this photo was taken, he ran into the stable, waited a bit, and then he came flying out all of a sudden flagging his tail, as he knew I was waiting with the camera.”

// The 2019 colt Nighthyme Revelry (Tuxedo Thyme ABA x Endeavor To Persevere), owned and photographed by Keeley Waters, Granby, Colorado. “This wonderful black colt was born on the night of the summer solstice,” says Keeley. “He’s the first foal of my mare, Endeavor To Persevere, by Maclintock V. I knew she wouldn’t disappoint in passing on her fantastic Varian promise of beauty, intelligence, and athletic ability. The sire, Tuxedo Thyme ABA, is no stranger to the winner’s circle, and with all his accomplishments, I knew he would help create a spectacular foal. This colt exudes an inquisitive personality and outstanding conformation. For me, he’s the jackpot!”

As you can see — it definitely worked! We know that this colt is going to make his sire proud in the western pleasure showring.”

top right: The 2019 filly Causin aChommotion (VP Charade x DB Treasured Possession), owned by Wendy Kerr and Mark Lasiter of Why Not Arabians, Weiser, Idaho. “This is a highly-anticipated foal,” says Wendy. “Charade has only had a handful of foals, and I was never in a position to keep one. In 2017, Charade colicked pretty badly, and I made a promise to him and myself — if he pulled through, I’d find him a girlfriend and build him a pasture. When we moved to Idaho in 2018, I was able to fulfill my promise. ‘Reggie’ is everything I wanted.”

Tall and upright with a trot that will blow everyone away, she has a ton of presence, yet is sweet and affectionate,” says Morgan Runyon. “She will be an open and amateur handler’s dream and will follow in her dam’s Scottsdale Top Five hoofprints as a champion western pleasure mount. We couldn’t have asked for a more outstanding first foal from ‘Andy.’ Her full sibling is expected next spring.” bottom left: The 2019 filly Fyrelyte Sonata (Spitfyre VF x Tapestry VF), owned by Romney and Caroline Maupin, Nipomo, California. “‘Wow! top right: The 2019 Anglo-Arabian colt, Signal Paint (Signal Bey [Anglo-Arabian] x Paint The Dancer [TB]), owned and photographed by Laura Wood, Brooksville, Florida. “This colt’s unusual color is from the combination of his dam’s W5 gene, and his sire’s rabicano gene that amplifies the W5 gene. His base color is black,” says Laura.

The 2019 filly Diamond Tsyren (Eliron Haman x Diamond Tsabrina), owned by Tara Ray, Elkhart, Texas, and bred by Angela Jenkins, Diamond Magic Arabians, Gilmer, Texas. “After almost 50 years with Arabians, my four foals of 2019 will probably be the last I will ever breed, and I think they are my best,” says Angela Jenkins. “This sweet filly was sold at just two weeks of age, and the new owner, Tara, also leased the filly’s dam, who will be bred to Tara’s black Arabian stallion for future foals.” Photo by Angela Jenkins Norton.
