The Wallace Nutting Collectors Club is actively planning its 50th anniversary convention and it’s free to the public. The group’s event will take place Thursday and Friday, Sept 14 and 15, on Cape Cod at the Hyannis Resort and Conference Center, located at 35 Scudder Lane, Hyannis, Mass. September is a beautiful and less crowded time of the year on Cape Cod. The hotel has given the club a discounted rate to make the most of this opportunity. The convention starts off with the annual club dinner on Thursday night. Friday morning is the marketplace where dealers and collectors buy, sell and trade Wallace Nutting and other hand-colored photography and Wallace Nutting furniture. There will also be several informational lectures to be announced closer to the date. a CGC 9.4 example of “Amazing Spider-Man #14” (July 1964), an issue that is important for its first appearanceof Green Goblin and the first meeting of Spider-Man and The Incredible Hulk. Not only did it surpass its high estimate, selling for $38,615, it also set a new auction record for the title/grade in so doing.

Event Will Feature Over 150 Artists, Five Stages Of Live Music, And Activities

The Doylestown Arts Festival will return for its 32nd anniversary on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 9 and 10, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. The festival remains free of charge to attend and is designed to illuminate the region’s ongoing commitment to arts and culture. For two days, the historic downtown Doylestown streets will be transformed into a lively outdoor marketplace full of art and music from local and regionally recognized creators.

Founded in 1991, the Doylestown Arts Festival has supported independent artists and musicians for over 30 years while drawing attention and tourism to the local community. This year’s festival will offer familiar favorites to longtime attendees and a vibrant experience for those new to the area and visiting from afar. The two-day street festival will showcase a curated lineup of over 150 artists, 40 performances across 5 stages of live music, live art demonstrations from painting to glass blowing, and activities for all ages to enjoy.
