Managing Feline and Canine Lymphoma: Updated on Treatment and Diagnostics Presented by Dr. Conor McNeill, DVM, DACVIM Lymphoma (LSA) is a cancer of the lymphoid cells and a relatively common cancer affecting many dogs and cats. This lecture will review discuss the etiology, staging and treatment of this disease. We will discuss advanced diagnostic tests as well as novel treatment options for this cancer in the clinical setting. 11:00 – 11:50 AM

Ophthalmic Examination Techniques Presented by Dr. Elizabeth Adkins, DVM, MS, DACVO This presentation will demonstrate the appropriate tests and techniques for a complete ophthalmic examination. All attendants should understand the basics of the examination and with practice be able to perform a complete ophthalmic examination on dogs and cats.

Small Animal Abdominal Radiography Presented by Dr. Kristin Holland, DVM, MS, DACVR This lecture will cover the basic principles of abdominal radiography pertinent to the small animal general practitioner. This includes a general review of appropriate radiographic technique, positioning, and anatomic landmarks before continuing on to image interpretation; the image interpretation section will introduce a systematic approach to evaluating the abdomen and focus on principles of interpretation, as well as reviewing radiographic anatomy. The end of the lecture will be composed of case examples so attendees can apply the techniques and approaches covered earlier to actual cases; they will review and interpret the provided studies and be asked to describe their radiographic findings and differential diagnoses. 2:00 – 2:50 PM

The Lung. Thoracic Radiographic Interpretation: Old and New Paradigms Presented by Dr. Megan Bounds, DVM, DACVR This discussion will cover the two approaches for describing the lung and their similar fundamentals, emphasize their differences and learn how to better compile and prioritize an accurate list of differential diagnoses.

Surgical Upper Airway Diseases Presented by Dr. Holly Phelps, DVM, DACVS This lecture will will provide an overview of the pathogenesis, diagnosis, treatment and prognosis for common upper airway diseases, including brachycephalic syndrome, tracheal collapse, laryngeal paralysis.
