TEEN ADVISORY BOARD
at Joint Base Andrews Library
2nd & 4th monday at 1730 beginning in january 2024 what is a teen advisory board? A group of young patrons passionate about improving their library! Earn volunteer hours, gain leadership experience, develop teen programs, and choose materials for the library, all while making friends and hanging out! APPLY NOW!

THRIFT SAVINGS PLAN (TSP)
When you save, you are usually able to pull that money out when you need it (or after a period of time). When you invest, you have the potential for better long-term gains or rewards, but also the potential for loss. You risk more in investing for a larger return, but your potential loss can be large as well.
Federal civilian employees who have retirement coverage are covered by FERS. FERS is a retirement plan that provides benefits from three different sources: a Basic Benefit Plan, Social Security and the Thrift Savings Plan (TSP). This workshop will provide detailed information on FERS.
Participants (civilian and service members) will learn how TSP contributions work, the difference between traditional and Roth contributions, and how to manage their accounts throughout their careers.
