THIS IS ARMANDO MY LIFE’S WORK IS A SEEMINGLY SIMPLE STATEMENT WITH A VERY RICH MEANING. For us, our life’s work is more than what we make, it’s how we make it. The stories, the people, the pride that come with the passion for making. It’s a direct line from our founding in 1922 to the legacy we choose to carry forward. To craft something meaningful. We believe it defines a certain type of individual. Deeply personal, it’s a way of engaging with the world through our passions. My life’s work is a lifetime spent seeking experiences and learning from them. There is no finish line because we’re always evolving and perfecting. It’s unique to each of us and that’s what makes it matter. VOLUME 1 / MY LIFE’S WORK X ARMANDO For our first volume we’re inspired by Armando Cabral, whose journey, passion and style are notable in the relentless pursuit of his craft. Global citizen, philanthropist, father and renowned shoemaker in his own right, we got to know one another through our shared love of shoes. Not only did Armando lend his personal style to the icons of the Allen Edmonds collection, he also curated his own ARMANDO CABRAL collection for us that is steeped in his African heritage. As shoemakers we continuously look for inspiration in our never-ending pursuit of making beautiful shoes, and we found that in ARMANDO CABRAL.

Allen Edmonds style. The ARMANDO CABRAL touch. As two footwear makers that share a passion for creating, we invited Armando to work with our designers and create his version of our moto boot. A new buckle strap and wider, contrast stitching on the suede were added to this design that’s part of our eco-friendly Discovery collection. Each pair is crafted at our factory in Port Washington, Wisconsin and touched by 48 highly skilled hands. Best of all, 100% of the proceeds will be donated to Armando’s philanthropic efforts to benefit the African community and important social justice causes. 11
