ADAPTHAUS-ILLINOIS SOLAR DECATHLON Net-Zero Modular Residence in Champaign, Illinois University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Spring 2019-present ROLES: Project Architect and former paid summer intern BRIEF: The US Department of Energy Solar Decathlon- Build Challenge is a twoyear long competition where university students design and construct a high performance Net-Zero House. My team is constructing a 1200-sqft residence for young professionals in the campus-town of Champaign, Illinois, US. The house will be tested for innovations and efficiency in design, resilience and sustainability. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Leading a 7-member team in preparing construction drawings, and schedules, in partnership with Skender & Thornton Tomasetti - Co-coordinating inter-disciplinary Revit-BIM integration between the Architecture, Structure, Landscape, & MEP teams - Undertaking Building Performance studies using Sefaira, Insight, Diva4Rhino and WUFI Passive -Supervising the compliance with International building codes, Champaign codes, US ADA Guidelines and Solar Decathlon construction codes -Successfully procured sponsorship & product donations from leading AEC manufacturers, including Resource Furniture, Pella, Daltile, and Emseal

south view school, dubai K-12 School in Remraam, Dubai, UAE r+d Studio, Delhi NCR, India 2016-17 ROLES: Junior Architect BRIEF: The 250,000 sq.ft school is a British Curriculum FS1 to Y13 school, facilitating the upcoming neighbourhoods in the Remraam area of Dubailand. The design utilizies stacked volumes to create dynamic masses and voids, mutually shading and complementing each other, while providing opportunities to students of diverse age groups to learn and prosper as a community. RESPONSIBILITIES: - Assisted the Project architect and the firm principals in preparing working drawings for full and part scopes of the project -Assisted the team in designing and preparing visualizations of exterior and interior spaces in the school

NAGPUR CONVENTION HOTEL Convention Center + Hotel, Nagpur, India r+d Studio, Delhi NCR, India 2016-17 ROLES: Junior Architect + Project Architect BRIEF: The 100,000 sq.ft Convention center and hotel was designed to attract local and national visitors to hold cultural, social and business events in the fast-growing urban center and reside during that time. Aimed to be a city landmark, the convention center provides opportunities to hold grad weddings, car showcase, fashion shows and business conventions. The hotel complements these events providing luxurious and comfortable accomodation facilities. mixed-use tower, CHICAGO Integrated Tall-building design in Chicago, Illinois University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois, with SOM, Chicago as teaching office Fall 2018 (Nominated for Earl Prize/Graduate student award) TEAM: Akshay Srinivas (Author), Vaishali Singh, Sabina Choragwicki, Malavika Mallik BRIEF: The project required student teams to re-visualize 401 N Wabash Avenue, Chicago based on program requirements provided by SOM. Our team developed the building as a sustainable 1100ft super-tall building that utilized its prime location next to the Chicago river and picturesque views of the city and Michigan lake to attract its visitors, providing them dynamic opportunities to engage with the building and with the city. The team developed the scheme to maximize efficiency in structure, mechanical systems, vertical circulations and building systems. LIGHT WEB Biomimetic Parametric Pavilion at Prudential Plaza, Chicago, Illinois University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, Illinois Spring 2019 (Nominated for Earl Prize/Graduate student award) TEAM: Akshay Srinivas (Author), Sneha Ananth, Jacob Sanders BRIEF: The project required student teams to study daylighting, wind and thermal conditions at Prudential Plaza, Chicago, and develop systems to enhance the spatial performance, using biomimicry and building performance tools. My team developed a translucent pavilion replicating principles from a Spider Web (structural network), Water droplet (Light reflections and refractions) and Dynoflaggelate algae (Light absorption + dispersion).
