Narrative Writing: A story that connects events A moving picture in your mind and a true story about yourself with “extra juice”

Narratives need to have rich details and appeal to all senses. The reader is seeing, hearing, smelling, and touching what he reads. This makes the writing and reading more captivating.

Writing has become more colorful and lively! Students are using their “Juicy Words” to create a living account! They have the resources needed to become true architects of their own learning!

When students compile, and have within their reach the “learning” tools they need, they succeed. “I teach them to cut and

Shapes Feelings,

Smell, Atmosphere (weather) to our writings!

“Juicy” lists are compiled together as a class! Students have them so they are in full charge of their COLORFUL writings!
