
Ruben Bjerg Hansen, Chief Experience Officer (CXO)
Ruben is our strategic design resource, responsible for leadership in UX and product. He is a hands-on multidisciplinary designer that thinks in terms of function and emotion. Using the visual language to bring concepts to life that works on multiple levels - viral, self promoting products with personalities. Ruben received his design education at Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication (London) and Design Skolen Kolding where he graduated with a MA in Visual Communication.

Rolf Ussing, Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
Rolf Ussing joined Issuu in 2008 as the Chief Financial Officer. He leads the finance, facilities and information technology teams, while overseeing Issuu’s international financial operations. Rolf has over 20 years of diversified financial experience as the CFO and COO of Danish companies in industries ranging from leisure to IT. Rolf holds a Graduate Certificate in Business Administration, having specialized in accounting and financial controlling.

Christian Sejersen, VP Engineering
Christian is heading up the engineering group. Prior to joining Issuu, Christian held senior management positions in Nokia, Mozilla and Openwave, engineering positions in CSC and KMD and co-founded a software security company. A native of Denmark, Christian Sejersen holds a master's degree in computer science from the University of Copenhagen.

Mik Strøyberg, Director of Consumer Engagement and U.S. Sales
Mik is Director of Consumer Engagement and U.S. Sales. In this role, he serves as a catalyst for the company’s growth, developing innovative strategies that aggressively generate new customers and profits. Despite his young age, Mik has an impressive resume of innovative business development, earning him inclusion in the "Talent 100" list, complied by the prominent Danish business magazine BNY. Before joining Issuu, Mik worked with Berlingske Media, Denmark’s largest news publishing group. He received a Bachelor of Science and a Master’s of Science in Economics from Copenhagen Business School.

Morten Heuing, Chairman
Morten works as senior commercial director for eBay Northern Europe. Until recently he served as Nordic managing director for StepStone, Europe´s biggest jobs classified business. Prior to that Morten held senior positions for Deutsche Bank and Daimler in several European countries, mainly within sales management and product marketing. Morten holds a degree in business management from VWA in Stuttgart/Germany.

Michael Hansen, Co-founder & Board Member
A visionary and serial entrepreneur, Michael has the ideal combination of technical expertise and business savviness. At age 10 Michael's dad funded his first computer, igniting a life-long passion for software. Several years later he would go on to win top prizes in several Demoscene competitions, which established his notoriety among the computer art subculture of the 80s. During his Msc studies in physics at the University of Aarhus, Denmark, he relentlessly developed new Internet solutions to everyday problems with the user experience always at the forefront. After completing his studies Michael joined his first start-up, Milestone Systems, where he played a key role in creating the now world leader in digital video surveillance. Simultaneously, he started his own media consulting company, Mindinteraction, working with such companies as Nokia, Motorola, and Magnum Photos. Following a corporate career at DFDS, Michael co-founded Issuu in 2005.

Henrik Werdelin, Board Member
Henrik is working as an adviser for Sunstone Capital. Previously Henrik was Chief Creative Officer at Joost, where he was responsible for creative and product development. Before that, he was Vice President of Product Development and Strategy for MTV Networks International where he spearheaded the development of many of MTV's award winning innovative products, including TV formats, broadband channels, and mobile games.

Christian Lindegård Jepsen, Board Member
Christian is a Partner at Sunstone Capital where he focuses on early stage investments in software and digital media. Prior to joining Sunstone, Christian co-founded three start-ups and worked on business development at Egmont Nordisk Film. Christian has lived and worked in Copenhagen, Washington DC, New York, Amsterdam and London, and he holds a BSEE from the Danish Engineering Academy and an MBA from Georgetown University.
Also on the board is Co-Founder Ruben Bjerg Hansen.
