The mission of the Asian-American Cultural Circle of Unity (AACCU) - a 501c3 non-profit - is to foster awareness and appreciation of the many different cultures represented here in the Long Island-NYC area. Our goal is to reach out to the population at large by inviting them to participate in our festivals, programs, seminars, art exhibits, films and lectures. The arts speak a universal language, and it is through art mediums that we cross cultural barriers and promote harmony and unity in this diversified world. August 2014 Dear Friends, I’d like to extend my congratulations to the Asian-American Cultural Circle of Unity for its second Multinational Cultural Festival of New York. We honor the diversity of the people and cultures that thrive in Suffolk County and welcome the festival’s recognition of the many heritages and customs present here. Thanks to the festival, we are able to enjoy the music, art, dance and other performances of people whose roots reach back to several other continents. The festival’s theme, “East, West and Beyond,” presents a wonderful opportunity to learn more about each other and celebrate the differences as well as the common cultures we enjoy here. Sincerely,

Steven Bellone Suffolk County Executive
