Welcome to your 2022 Winter edition of BLUSH!

BLUSH AW22 is here, and it’s all about looking ahead to the future. We’ve had enough time to dwell on new variants, recessions, and all of the other frankly rubbish cards we’ve been dealt, and set our sights on what’s to come - and it’s super Inexciting.thisissue,

we’re investigating how the Metaverse is changing the way we shop (p60), getting ahead of the game on the designer brands headed for cult-classic status (p70), and helping you learn to love your natural hair (p8).

Love Island’s Faye Winter also talks about how she’s redefining the word ‘influencer’ for the next wave of internet stars (p18), and we’re re-introduced to one of the biggest boy bands of the 2010s for their 10-year anniversary: The Vamps (p72).

That’s what new-gen is all about.

About the Charity

Look Good Feel Better knows how challenging it can be to process a cancer diagnosis and manage the physical and emotional side-effects of cancer treatment. This is why they run workshops both virtually and at cancer care centres and hospitals across the UK to support women, men and young adults through this time. The workshops are led by trained volunteers in the beauty industry who provide practical advice about changes to skin, eyebrows, eyelashes, hair, nails, and body confidence. Volunteers in the health industry also lead well-being focused workshops covering meditation, breathwork and gentle exercise to help reduce feelings of isolation and anxiety.

The best thing about them? Every single one offers an invaluable opportunity to meet others going through a similar situation.

The last couple of years have seen the charity add new services to its portfolio, in direct response to the restrictions imposed by the Covid pandemic.Throughout the last couple of years, Look Good Feel Better brought groups of people together on Zoom and the response was beyond expectations. The charity eventually expanded its support to include hair loss, wigs, head coverings, nail care, ‘chair’ yoga, Pilates and body confidence sessions.

To date, Look Good Feel Better has supported over 197,000 people living with cancer and continues to help put a smile on people’s faces even in the most difficult of circumstances.

HOW I TO MYLEARNTLOVECURLS

I previously considered changing my hair because...

@itsthatezi

As a Black Nigerian woman, I struggled with hair confidence because of my little-to-no knowledge on how to care for my natural hair. As well as minimal information on the internet about my particular hair texture, as someone with type 4c kinky coily hair - I didn’t even know what my natural hair texture was until I was in university at the age of 20.

The lack of representation in the media and the typically negative portrayal of type 4 hair subconsciously conditioned me - and perhaps other black women - to aspire to change our own natural hair specifically by relaxing straighteningor it, creating a persistent negative cycle that affects our confidence.hairMyfavourite thing about my natural hair is how versatile it is! It can be short due to shrinkage or it can be stretched out for a longer look. I can wear my hair in a classic Afro or wear it as a twist/braid out. My hair can be small or have amazing volume depending on how I choose to style it. If I could send my younger self a message, I’d tell her that fitting in is overrated and that it’s ok to be unique.

From coily to kinky, it’s about time we showed some hair-preciation

Why@13riandadoso many women lack curl confidence?

It’s easy to lose hair confidence when you see women with straight hair everywhere you go, from magazines to movies, social media, and even family. It’s the “desired” look, and when I was little, it was rare to see a person embracing their curls. If they did, there would be unnecessary comments about how “messy” or “frizzy” it was.

I had considered permanently straightening my hair because I wanted my hair to look like the rest of the women I saw around me. Now that I’ve learnt how to properly take care of my curls, it’s definitely not on the cards!

I started watching YouTube videos from different curly-haired influencers and realised how beautiful curly hair can be – and the potential my hair had to grow strong and healthy. Watching young women embrace and love their hair is still inspiring, and I am fortunate now to be at a stage in my journey where I can inspire others.

My favourite thing about my hair is the definition and volume it can achieve after a good wash day, as well as its variety of patterns. Some strands may be wavy and others can be super curly!

Amy Johnson

It’s difficult not to want to conform to societies expectations of what ‘clean’ and ‘professional’ hair should look like. Sometimes I considered even straightening my hair just for a job interview! (I’m glad I didn’t as it is my identity and shows off my personality!)

I haven’t changed my hair at all - no colour - and I try not to change the texture with heat. I am surrounded by so many inspirational naturally curlyhaired women that constantly uplift and support my journey.

I would turn up to school sometimes with my hair straightened, and classmates would tell me how amazing and beautiful it looked. As much as I appreciated their comments, I would tell my younger self that you don’t need to change just because other people prefer ityou can wear your curly hair however makes you happy - embrace all your curls, frizz, and roots!

My favourite thing about my curls is...

That it makes me feel unique. It also helps that I can go days without brushing and no one would even know!

Lilli Schaub @lillischaub

I wanted to change my hair when I was younger. Very few people around me had hair like me so I felt like an outsider at times. I didn’t know how to manage it or what to use to take care of it, so all I saw when I looked in the mirror were frizzy and undefined curls.

I think some women and young girls struggle with hair confidence because they may not know how to manage or style their natural hair. Once they see how their hair can really look with the right routine and tools, I think they would see that curly hair is unique to their authentic beauty.

A message to my younger self:

Your hair is beautiful! Don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. You may not believe it right now, but someday you will, so don’t try to change it. You were meant to be you, not someone else!

CRYOTHERAPY

CRYOTHERAPY (aka cold therapy) is a term that’s been thrown around the world of beauty and wellness for a while now, but outside the walls

of clinics it’s not yet peaked in popularity. However, searches for cryotherapy are up 27.2% since last year, suggesting its

inevitable boom is impending.

It’s not for the faint-hearted, however, as the treatment sees you in a cold chamber at -110°C for 3 minutes, and sessions should be regular to maintain the results.

To help debunk how cryotherapy works, and decide if it’s right for you, we’ve enlisted the help of 111SKIN founder, Dr Yannis Alexandrides.

111SKIN founder, Dr Yannis Alexandrides answers your burning questions about the hottest cold treatment
BLUSH | BEAUTY
BLUSH | WINTER 2022 11blushmagazine.org.uk

Historically, cold therapies have always been associated with having positive benefits on the mind and body. As the science around this evolved, so did the technology. This meant some of the previously unknown benefits of cold therapies became clearer. I think cryotherapy is a brilliant example of how far extreme cold technologies have come. Thanks to the anti-ageing and endorphin-boosting after effects, cryotherapy has become a force to be reckoned with and I’m pleased to see it growing in popularity within the beauty and wellness landscape.

A lot of celebrities come in for sessions too — the latest being Lewis Hamilton. This is how we raise awareness of such treatments, as it sparks curiosity in people..

What are the key benefits of cryotherapy?

Cryotherapy has a lot of great benefits. It has been shown to boost your metabolic

activity, burning up to 800 calories in only three minutes. It also elevates circulation, immune system function, energy levels and endorphins, and has been shown to improve sleep quality in regular users. Another wellness benefit includes its ability to reduce inflammation – which is especially helpful in post-exercise recovery.

When used regularly, cryotherapy helps to increase collagen production

which can improve epidermal tautness andThisfirmness.isbecause when your body is exposed to the extreme cold, minus-83 degrees to be exact, collagen levels can increase in response to the elevated oxygen uptake experienced. This improves circulation, helping to increase epidermal firmness and improve skin tone.

What can I expect from a session?

As you are only in the chamber for three minutes, your body essentially goes into a state of shock – our animalistic flight or fight mode – that rapidly triggers the release of endorphins and adrenaline.

Once the time is over, your body’s elevated oxygen levels will gradually decrease, causing blood flow to speed up. This means you reap the benefits long after the therapy is over.

Prolonged exposure to Arctic temperatures can be dangerous, but the small, controlled amounts of extreme cold experienced in the 111CRYO chamber can be a healthy way to strengthen organ function. Cryotherapy combines wellness and aesthetic benefits, making it the total package.

How do maintainyouresults of cryotherapy?

The best way to maintain the results of cryotherapy is by booking in for regular sessions and sticking to healthy habits. A combination of self-care, vigilant skincare practices, diet, exercise, and treatments are all needed to sustain overall wellness.

We are already driving the future of cryotherapy. We extended our fullbody cryotherapy to facials and have developed the Regenerative Collection to mimic the benefits of cryotherapy at home, too.

How much can I expect to pay for cryotherapy?

It varies, however, 3-5 minutes of cryotherapy at 111cryoheat.com is £95.

Why are people turning to cryotherapy to maintain beauty and wellness?

LOVEREINVENTINGISLAND:

Faye Winter

ONE year on from her Love Island stint, third place couple Faye Winter and Teddy Soares are still going strong – something that the 27-year-old former lettings agent could never have imagined heading into the Now,villa.she’s settled and leaving her mark as an ambassador for Guide Dogs UK, helping others with all things buying and renting homes, and is in the midst of her Celebrity MasterChef journey, where she’s hoping people will see a different side to her.

“When I told my mum I was doing it, she was like, ‘great, you’re embarrassing me twice in a year’”, she jokes. “I wouldn’t say I’m the greatest of cooks. I should have probably been like Master of GCSE catering not MasterChef.

“I got put on love island for the personality… probably the same with this one,” she adds, but maintains that she does the bulk of the cooking at home, stating: “I’m definitely a better cook than Teddy!”“Icreated an amazing bond with Paul Chuckle on the show...he was just like the sweetest soul

and would just talk about his life, and you can tell that he still loves it.

“It was just lovely because I’ve grown up with him on my screen and to hear his stories was so eye opening... I’m not trying to replace you Barry, I promise!”However, despite her confidence in the kitchen, she admits there were some blunders that have undoubtably reminded viewers why they love watching her.

“Me and stress don’t go really too well together,” Faye admits, noting that contestants don’t have timers to keep track of their dishes. “There was a very tense moment for me where I honestly just wanted to walk out the kitchen like Gordon Ramsay like, ‘f*** this, f*** you...I’m done.’”

It’s not the first time that the reality star’s fiery personality has attracted attention. In fact, her Love Island outburst following a Casa Amor postcard led her to believe Teddy had cheated. It received the most Ofcom complaints that season –and the most of all time until the 2022 series.

“I would say I’m a lot stronger than when I went on,” she says. “At the time, I regretted a lot. But now looking back, I don’t regret a thing because in every situation, people prove to be who I thought they were.

“I regret taking everything out on Teddy after movie night. But without that, I wouldn’t have been able to grow and our relationship would have been doomed because I would have run away from him.

“I was only ever myself on that show. Like I didn’t care if I cussed and swore. Because if I get annoyed, that’s what I do at home anyway.”

But, despite her slender size six physique (dubbed the ‘Love Island look’), and being open about cosmetic procedures, Faye admits that putting on two stone during her time in the show was the hardest part to cope with, and something she never expected.

“It was probably the unhappiest I’ve ever been with my body because when you’re in the villa, you don’t move. There’s a gym but by the time you wake up and get ready, it’s too hot to work out... my clothes didn’t fit, and I always carry weight in my face, so I just felt so uncomfortable.

“If anything, I felt like Love Island has allowed me to be more natural in a weird way. I saw myself and I wasn’t a girl that I recognised.

“When I came out and had a new platform I wanted to inspire, so it allowed me to strip myself back, and have my filler removed.”

Almost 10 years after taking the leap and having her first boob job, she’s changing her outlook and becoming more confident in her own skin.

“I was so underdeveloped, I didn’t even want to take my top off when I used to get changed for PE,” she recalls of what prompted her decision.

“I got caught stealing chicken fillets from Primark...that was a really dark time, I felt so unwomanly, so my mum and dad were very supportive of me doing it. They could see how much it was affecting me.”

Since then, she went under the knife again at 23, going from a C-cup to an F-cup – but vows she has no regrets, and would even consider going smaller again.

“It’s funny because I actually spoke to Teddy about this the other day,” she laughs. “When I have kids I’ll probably have my breast implants taken out... I’m always going to have Botox done. That’s for sure.

“I definitely won’t hide it from the public. That’s what I choose to have done to my own body, I’m not embarrassed by it.

“I’ve been very open and at the same time, I’ve had a lot of botched job work done. I had to learn the hard way by going on national TV, and then seeing myself look like an absolute state!”

“I wish I hadn’t got my lips as big...I wish I’d listened to my mum and dad,” she admits when asked if she had any aesthetic treatments that she wished she’d never done.

“But if one person can learn from me and be like, ‘Oh my God, did you see how much filler Faye’s lips have? How terrible do they look?’ Then I’ve done my job.

“A real influencer is there to be perfectly imperfect; I want to educate through my mistakes.”

Being on one of the most-watched reality TV shows comes with its setbacks. Although she’s built an incredible career, has a loving relationship from the series, and is paving the way for the next generation of islanders, like others, Faye has been subject to a barrage of online trolling.

“I FELT LIKE LOVE ISLAND HAS ALLOWED ME TO BE MORE NATURAL IN A WEIRD WAY. I SAW MYSELF AND I WASN’T A GIRL THAT I RECOGNISED”

So, what does beauty mean to Faye Winter? (We should add that it doesn’t mean she’s giving up her glam for good, and jokes that she can still take three hours to get ready for events).

“Beauty comes from how confident and happy you are. I’m not an uptight person, I was a year ago. I’m not always on the defensive, which I was like a year ago.

“I feel a lot more beautiful in myself. I would never have done an interview with no eyelashes on and no hair extensions in, whereas now I’m, this is

Despite spending less time on social media, she admits her block list is “as big as the English dictionary” and has spent hours removing words from her comments sections so she doesn’t have to face them.

“All of the usual ones are on hairline...man...abuser...narcissist...fakethere...slut...teeth. I don’t have fake teeth, and I actually find it funny because I got my dad’s teeth, so it’s a bit of a compliment that people think they’re fake.

“My sister, who was managing my account while I was in the villa had blocked a lot of the words before I came out, and that’s what really hurt me...knowing that my sister had to see those things said about me.

“That was the hardest part for me at the time because I don’t want to cause pain for my family.”

“I’m not actually this horrible person that people want to make me out to be - I was a person on TV that did make you laugh, and made you cry because I had a beautiful love story,” she adds. “There was so much more to me.”

Faye has already reached out to season seven’s islanders fresh out of the villa, to offer support based on her experiences.

“I love seeing other people be happy. And if there’s anything I can do to help with that, then I’m here for it. I would hate for anyone to come out and say that there was no one that was there to help them, or they found the time really difficult when they first came out of the villa.”

Away from the cameras, she’s taken the time to reflect, and most importantly, learn to love herself again after such an intense few months.

so much love surrounding me, and if you don’t like it, that’s up to you.”

Embarking on her first TV venture since Love Island in Celebrity MasterChef, Faye’s hopeful that it won’t be the last we’ll see of her on our screens. In fact, she’s keen to do Big Brother and have her own property show.

“I want to keep concentrating on my two passions, which is dogs and properties,” she says of what’s to come.

“I’ve been trying to do different things compared to what normal Love Islanders do when they come out – I could have taken the easy route, but I want to carve my own path.

“I want to keep trying to change the narrative, and proving that Love Islanders can do anything.”

Colours to know

“In AW22 we’re going to see more auburn colours because people are looking to tone down their summer blondes and sun-kissed balayages in favour of a more luxurious copper or an expensive caramel, to match the mood of the season.

As ever, it’s also going to be all about warm chocolates and rich chestnuts too. It’s about adding depth and dimension. A luxe brunette with multidimensional highlights is at the top of my list, which can be achieved by adding strandlights around the face.”

MOSTNATURAL,TOUCHABLE,HEALTHY,ANDIMPORTANTLY,LOOKSEXPENSIVE”

Trends to jump on

“Money pieces are definitely one of the most popular trends right now, and carefully placed highlights around the face are only going to get bigger and brighter.

“We’re going to see a lot of light rich brown, and butter blonde, but cashmere blonde is the luxurious, soft hair trend that’s new to the scene and growing in popularity. This new shade is created by mixing cool and warm tones, creating an effortlessly glamorous

“Cashmerefinish.blonde looks healthy, touchable, natural, and most importantly looks expensive, glossy, and silky. It’s been all over the most recent London and Paris fashion weeks.”

But... will it suit?

(Spoiler: yes)

“All of these AW shades are super easy to match with all skin tones and eye colours. We all look fantastic with a bit of warmth in our hair during winter as we look paler.

“For those with darker skin tones, my recommendation is to play with natural, warm shades, and those with fairer skin to consider choosing intense butter blondes.

“A slow transition works better than jumping straight in. I normally start by adding lowlights or a reverse balayage, following up with a darker gloss at each appointment until I achieve the desired tone.”

The maintenance

“My favourite product to maintain a super glossy, rich, and shiny colour is Chroma ID by yourtreatmentitshaft.structuralintensetechnologyintegratedNotdamagingopportunities,endlessformulaaatit’sobsessedofProfessional.SchwarzkopfAllmyclientsarewithitassupereasytousehome.“ChromaIDissemi-permanentthatofferscolourwithoutthehair.onlythat,butthebondingprovidescarebyenforcingbondsinthehairIrecommendusingonceaweekasahairathometokeepcolourfresh.”

THEY say ‘eyebrows are the window to the soul’ - and it’s true. By just making tiny tweaks with plucking, tinting, and brushing, you can transform your entire face.

It’s even better for those of us who aren’t a dab hand with a makeup brush, because some of the most viral looks can actually be recreated using your brows instead. No more dodgy eyeshadow blending. Phew.

So, if you’re looking to get experimental, or simply try something new away from your usual wax-and-hope-for-the-best routine, it’s practically fool-proof. Eyebrows grow back, after all (too quickly for our liking).

However, with any eyebrow change, it’s still going to be slightly more commitment than just being able to swipe away your look at the end of the night. It’s important to remember to stay calm and take a step back after each pluck so you can shape with confidence and get a matching pair.

Thankfully, Fides Baldesberger, CEO and Owner of Rubis Beauty Tools, is on hand to give us the best tricks in the game so you can be inspired by some of your favourite influencers and celebrities...

“I would recommend focusing on plucking stray hairs beneath the brow so it doesn’t change the natural shape too much. You can also fill in your brows with a brow pencil, and then pluck any hairs that are outside of the brow line to achieve your perfect shape.”

Siren eyes

Siren eyes are super eyeliner-heavy and give a sultry edge to your makeup look – not because of its dark nature – but instead, its ability to give your eyes a lift.

When done with makeup, it’s about creating a smoky wing effect, which is especially great for those who like their eyes look less round and more elongated – think 90s supermodel reinvented.

However, when it comes to your brows? Fides suggests a sharp arch and short tail will achieve the same results.

“Use a brow brush to comb the hairs upward to get a better sense of their natural arch, so you know where you should be plucking in the first place,” she says.

“If there are any that seem long, use brow scissors to trim them rather than removing them entirely. You’ll also want to do this in very good lighting, so you can pluck every stray hair. This will really help to define that bold arch that will enhance Siren eyes.”

Fox eyes

Fox eyes are arguably the most controversial of recent eye trends, and it’s worth acknowledging. Models including Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid are used as reference when it comes to the lifted eye look which has been associated with cultural appropriation of

Some beauty fanatics are even opting for ‘Fox eye lifts’ which involve invasive threads being placed under

The Fox eye typically involves giving your eyes acknowledged the cultural plagiarism of the trend, it’s been given a less-dramatic makeover that simply elongates and makes your irises pop instead.

“To achieve your brow match for Fox eyes, you’ll want to work on achieving straighter brows with long tails. You’ll need to work on elongating and sharpening the brows to really add to

“To do this, you’ll want to reduce some of the definition in your natural brow arch and make the brows go outwards towards your temples as

I faced being single with a stoma and ended up finding true love

Before my stoma surgery, I had been in a happy three-year relationship with my partner, we had dreams of one day buying our own home together.

All that changed in November 2021 when I was rushed to hospital with severe abdominal pain and bleeding out of my Ibottom.suffered from a form of Inflammatory Bowel Disease called Ulcerative Colitis, which for the past year had taken over my life.

I was admitted to St Thomas’ hospital where the widespread extent of my disease became evident. I was treated with IV steroids before being trialled on a new biological drug.

Despite all the treatment my rectal bleeding only continued to worsen. To this day I’ll never forget my doctor telling me this drug was the last chance to save my colon.

My fears were realised when I was told I would now need surgery to create a stoma as my body was days from dying. I didn’t know anyone my age (27) with a stoma, I just thought it was something that only older people needed. How wrong I was.

I immersed myself in research about stomas and found social media to be my greatest source of information. It turns out that every 39 minutes in the U.K. someone undergoes stoma surgery, and all ages make up that statistic.

In this time of great emotional stress and fear, I felt as though I needed my partner more than ever. Sadly, our relationship during my hospital stay became increasingly strained and upon being discharged we split.

It was a devastating shock, I lost both my colon and my boyfriend in the space of two months. I now faced being single with a stoma bag something no article online prepares you for.

Most people know how hard online dating is, but I wondered, ‘Who on earth would want me with a never-ending illness and a bag of poo on my Mystomach?’.firstcouple of months back at home were focused on processing the grief of not just losing my partner,

but also my former body. It wasn’t at all easy but it didn’t stop me.

I joined the dating app Hinge, and after a while struck up a conversation with my now-boyfriend Callum. I was terrified of telling him about my stoma, I was certain he would no longer be interested in me, so I decided to keep it a secret until we decided to meet up in Callumperson.however incidentally stumbled across my Twitter page revealing my chronic illness and surgical Hejourney.texted me to ask if I was ready to talk about it and, despite my initial embarrassment that he discovered my personal journey on social media, I was relieved that finally, I could actually talk about it.

I told him how my chronic illness had led me to my stoma, affectionately nicknamed Buffy (after my favourite show). I reassured him that a stoma does not impact anyone apart from the person who has to live with it.

People who have stomas can swim, run marathons, have sex, become mothers and do anything they put their minds to...the only difference is we poo differently from most people!

Thankfully, Callum was very understanding and reassured me, ‘I don’t care about your stoma, I care about you’. This is all I could ever have hoped to hear. Now six months after our first text exchange we are planning to move in together. For me, having a stoma was not the end of my life…… it was just the beginning.

AS the dark nights draw in and the weather turns cooler, nothing evokes a feeling of cosiness like settling down with a box of popcorn and your favourite film. Sure, watching it on the TV or balancing a laptop at the end of your bed does the trick, but there’s no better way to enjoy the full experience than with a home cinema.

While not everyone is fortunate enough to have the space, time, or cash for a Hollywood set up, having the basics means you can set up and go to get started with the push of a button, and achieve the

The projector

A projector is by far the best-value way of getting the effect of a 50-inch+ screen, without the need to go out and buy a new TV. You’ll need a plain, preferably white, backdrop such as a wall to reap the benefits too.

Many projectors work via USB or HDMI (great for using with a laptop), or some are even Bluetooth-compatible with iPhones, so you can set up and go pretty much anywhere.

Price points vary from around £100 up into the thousands, but if you’re only planning on settling down in a dark room, something pretty simple will work just fine.

However, if you’re thinking of using it regularly or during daylight, you may want to consider one with at least 2,000 ANSI Lumens brightness.

Find the right sound system

A surround-sound system is essential for recreating that 360-experience you get from being at the cinema, and it contributes to around 50% of your overall experience.

sound bars are a good option for improving general sound quality, or if you have the space and budget, you could get a multi-speaker set up, so you’re completely immersed. Place your centre speaker underneath (and as close as possible to) the projector as this is where any talking in the film you’re watching will come from.

Get comfy

Let’s face it, when the big screen’s on, you want to be slouched into your seat – and sometimes the sofa just doesn’t cut it.

Invest in a comfy armchair or a bean bag for a seating experience that you don’t get in your everyday life, and to help alleviate neck and shoulder tension.

Not only are they great for lounging, but can easily be put away or moved from roomdoesn’tIfto-room.yourspaceallow

for it, consider a foot stool instead for a small upgrade to your current set up that will make all of the difference.

Added extras

No cinema night is complete without the feeling of complete relaxation. Soft textures beneath your feet, snacks in arms-reach, and a comfortable spot to rest are all just as important as having the film itself.

Choose fabrics such as faux fur or wool to help you unwind, as they’re far softer than just sitting on carpet or hard surfaces. Go wild with blankets and pillows.

Mood lighting

“One of the most important factors we consider when it comes to lighting is not only how it changes the mood of a space, but also what function it delivers,” admits Tom Sullivan, Habitat’s Lighting Designer. “Use a mix of ambient, task and accent lighting to define separate spaces for sleeping, relaxing, reading and working. Switching to a table lamp with low luminosity can help you wind down at the end of a long day, or opt for sconce lighting to free up valuable floor space.”

Particularly if your wall colours are darker in colour, it’s important to invest in good lighting that will not only look atmospheric when switched on, but as its own standalone feature too.

Fragrancefamilies

Floral

A floral scent does exactly what it says on the tin. It’s light, feminine, and relaxing - and usually involves flowers such as rose, jasmine and lily. You can then break this group down even further into ‘soft florals’ (think lavender and violet), and ‘oriental florals’ which are more spicy fragrances like orange blossom.

Citrus

Citrus scents are all smellssuper-energisingthatcome from zesty fruits, including grapefruit, orange, and lemon. Of course, they all sit differently on the scale, as some are sweeter, but they all tend to be associated with spring and summer – perfect for injecting a warm weather feel into your home during the colder months.

They’re also fresh, natural scents, so are slightly less perfume-like than some of the other families.

Spicy

Spicy fragrances are perfect for a winter’s night when you want to evoke feelings of cosiness, and memories of curling up by the fire with loved ones.

Cinnamon, pepper, and nutmeg are leading ingredients in this family, and designed to be heavy aromas that hit you instantly when you enter a room.

In an area that has so many different types of smells overlapping each other (it turns out day-old spaghetti bolognese’s aroma doesn’t fit that well with eggs), the best thing to conquer it isItcitrus.smells fresh, and clean, which is exactly why so many cleaning products come in scents like lemon and apple, and won’t overpower when you’re next cooking – it’ll just get rid of anything unwanted.

Entrance halls

An entrance hall is the first place you walk into when you enter your home, so you need something inviting and cosy – and spices and musks are the way to go.

Cinnamon, orange, and tuberose all have a perfect blend of fresh-meets-homely, and set the tone for anyone that comes in. However, your entrance hall is all about bringing your personality in and showing people how you want your home to be perceived, so don’t be afraid to get creative or choose representativesomethingofyou.

Living room

Your living room is the place you’re most likely to bring guests, sit down with family, and relax in front of the TV, so you want a scent that’s going to encapsulate the true feeling of home.

Something woody isn’t too distracting, but helps to add warmth, and opting for a slightly stronger fragrance is a great place to experiment in one of your largest rooms.

Dining room

Herbal ingredients like basil or sage are perfect for your dining room, because they’re not so intense that they completely overpower the smell of food (which is why we’re all here, right?), but they bring a nice fresh, ingredient atmosphere to the room, that blends with some of the things you may be eating. They’re not too clinical, and welcoming for guests.

WALNUT & LATTE

Atimeless aesthetic that we return to each season with varying iterations, this look is all about crafting a space that feels both grounded and balanced. Using a palette inspired by earth and water elements, we’ve used nature’s colour wheel to help cement an overarching theme of connection.

Bar stools and bar table set-ups lend an informal vibe to the social hub of the home and can be used for morning coffee catch-ups and cocktails alike. Dining room furniture is simple and unfussy, but beautiful design details such as painted chairs, x-frames, and natural wood finishes ensure that it’s far from plain.

A seasonal favourite for us, a rustic bedframe weaves the story of wood through to the bedroom. Accessorised with a mixture of textures to bring warmth to the look, geometric patterns across wall art and bedside lighting add depth and visual interest to the space.

BERRY CRUSH

Amix of punchy berry tones burst onto the scene during the AW22 fashion shows in the form of cerise, magenta, and fuchsia, as bright pink cheerfully declared itself back ‘en vogue’. For autumn/winter, we’ve taken this berry crush shade and worked it into an industrial-meets-Japandi scheme that’s perfect for a contemporary interior. Offering more than just a touch of warmth, fuchsia takes centrestage as a painted backdrop in the dining room, with flourishes seen across the hallway too.

In tribute to Japandi simplicity, the furniture brings an aesthetically pleasing linear perspective that sets the tone for the rest of the look. Slim, angled metalwork is paired with abstract wall art and simple, unfussy decorative accessories to strike a balance between effortless style and structured décor. Elegantly bowed frames add visual interest, whilst the painted black wood adds drama to the space.

most home owners might think. It prevents mould and when well looked-after, keeps your space looking brand new. If you want to stay on top of it, grout pens are a cheap and easy way to keep it white – or you could even consider opting for a darker colour, such as grey or black.

Polyblend Grout Renew has been dubbed ‘nail polish’ for grout and going for something that little bit darker is not only a stylish decision, but a practical one too, as it’s easier to keep clean than a traditional white.

THINGS TO TRY MARRAKECH,IN...MOROCCO

While Marrakech surprisingly isn’t the oldest, biggest, or even capital of Morocco, its bustling

inspiration for solo travellers and honeymoon dwellers-alike, it’s the perfect place to plan your culture and rich architecture make it Hollywood’s second home. A source of creativity and

next adventure. Here are five things to try on your trip...

1.

Marvel at the WaterfallsOuzoud

The Ouzoud Waterfalls are not only the secondtallest in Africa, but a great spot for capturing content. Expect to hear the thunder of water crashing down, while swimmers cool off in the Oued River below. This particular area plays home to Barbary apes too, so don’t forget to keep a look out – apparently they’re more confident around humans than you’d think.

2. Experience the desert

The Agafay desert is located 30km south of Marrakech and is a one-stop shop to a trip you’ll never forget. Camel rides, quad bikes, and hot air balloons are some of the most popular choices for seeing its beauty, although there are even opportunities for luxury camping stays if you can handle the heat (literally).

While the Agafay is rocky and has been likened to the moon, you can go a little further afield to the Sahara for the full desertsand experience. However, expect a pretty lengthy journey of around nine hours, so we’d set aside a few days to avoid rushing.

3. Get lost in palacea

Ready to manifest your future? Head to one of Marrakech’s many palaces for a taste of history and the high life. The main palaces are only a stone’s throw away from each other too, so you can easily head to one after theTheother.19th-century Bahia Palace has 150 rooms and incredible stained-glass windows, as well as a luxurious marble courtyard complete with its own fountains. Not too shabby.

4. Enjoy architecture from up high

The most-favoured way to stay in Marrakech is in a traditional riad guesthouse lined with incredible tiling and rich tones fit for royalty - and interior courtyards likened to palaces - complete with lemon trees, of course.

Even when you’re outside, you can catch a great view from anywhere around the city. The red clay rooftops and geometric shapes of buildings make for a perfect sunset backdrop.

5. MedinaupSoakthe

Marrakech’s Medina is the walled, most ancient part of the city, and the best place to soak up authentic Moroccan culture. The traditional streets are lined with fruit stalls, locals travelling by cart, and sounds echoing from mosques. Pop into one of the many rooftop cafes to try some local cuisine while getting a 360-degree experience.

From NFTs, to “phygital” clothing, is the Metaverse about to flip the fashion industry on its head? THE FUTURE IS INfashion 60 BLUSH | WINTER 2022 BLUSH | LEISURE & LIFESTYLE blushmagazine.org.uk KleinCalvinCredit:

Its market size is predicted to reach as much as $800 billion by 2024, up from a cool $46 billion in 2021.

So, how is the Metaverse defined? Well, it’s a complex one, but simply put, it’s an extension of the internet that allows you to fully immerse yourself in a new, virtual world.

While it may seem new to most of us, it’s actually been around almost 30 years. In fact, one of the first times it was heard was from sci-fi writer Neal Stephenson to describe a virtual reality space that mimics the physical world.

Cryptocurrency and NFTs are arguably the most recognisable aspects of it right now, but a pivot to 3D headsets and other physical experiences could be next up.When brands were forced to go digital during the pandemic, there really was no better time to harness the newness of the Metaverse and be one of the first to unlock its potential. Huge retailers including Pretty Little thing unveiled their first digital models (which looked completely realistic), and many sites even allow for virtual ‘try-ons’ that mean we no longer have to venture outside or order with risk when we like the look of something. However, according to research by Productsup, 60% of shoppers have no interest in buying virtual goods in the metaverse. If companies are to cash-in on VR, they need to focus on how virtual shopping can benefit consumers in real life.“With the blockchain and NFTs, the internet now has a technological layer for managing and showing ownership,” says Marcel Hollerbach, Chief Innovation Officer at Productsup.

“Web1 was all about reading, Web2 was all about reading and writing, (think blogs and content creators), and Web3 is all about reading, writing and owning.”Whilewe’re still only dipping our toes into what the Metaverse is capable of, some of the biggest names in

the industry are proving it could be extremely profitable.

Gucci collaborated with Roblox, creating digital versions of popular items, and their Queen Bee Dionysus bag ended up selling for 350,000 Robux (around £3,300) - more than what it would have cost in real life.

Louis Vuitton created a set of skins for the ‘League of Legends’ game that allowed users to buy clothing and accessories for as little as $170 up to $5,000, and Balenciaga took a similar route with Fortnite.

popularity, the infrastructure is laid out, and brands know how to leverage NFTs and digital goods, even more use cases will

“Forunfold.example, brands could issue you a digital twin for everything you bought from the past year. This would allow you to continue to use the physical product you already bought in real life, as well as the digital version in the metaverse.”

The next wave of influencers has already begun. 19-year-old Lil Miquela has over three million Instagram followers, and she’s not a real person. She’s a digital woman, created by Brud, a start-up, but has already featured in Calvin Klein campaigns and attracts an engagement rate that competes with some of the platform’s biggest celebrities. Morgan Stanley predicts that luxury brands could be set to expand their markets by 10% by the end of the decade, making an additional $50 billion in revenue.

A meta future?

“It might start with Instagram offering NFT capabilities and exclusive AR filters for certain NFT holders,” Marcel adds.

OWNING

Fashion weeks have also gone digital with celebrities and journalists appearing at shows digitally, wearing custom clothes via their avatar. Ralph Lauren has filed nine Metaverse trademarks, and appeared alongside other major names including Dolce & Gabbana and Cavalli, hosting virtual shows and afterparties in ‘Decentraland’.Notonlyisit a new approach to shopping, but it’s opening up luxury fashion to those who may not ordinarily have been “Instagraminterested.influencers and luxury brands will drive the next wave of innovation, helping push NFTs and Metaverse experiences to the mainstream,” Marcel says.

“Once the Metaverse has gained

“There will be a shift not only in the way we shop but also what we shop. If your world is more and more augmented with digital content, this becomes part of your reality.

“Unlike the ‘real’ world, the virtual world has no physical restrictions. There are no limitations in space, there are no supply chains or shortages in production. In the digital world you can consume endlessly if you like, which could unlock a whole new level of macroeconomic growth.

“Like with the internet, nobody knows where it is going. Who would have thought in 1999 that 10 years later people would shop shoes online? A no-brainer today, but two decades ago it seemed unimaginable. The same thing will happen with the Metaverse. Once the hardware and software is ready and consumer-friendly, uptake willSo,explode.”whether you’re fully immersed in a world far away from reality, or simply seeking an easier way to shop, it’s safe to say ‘meta’ is one word we’ll be hearing a lot more of.

THEMEETVAMPS: again...

As The Vamps return for their 10year anniversary, they sit down to talk mental health, future music, and the pre-show ritual that has seen them through a decade of friendship

SINCE forming in 2012, The Vamps have become the faces of British pop music, with Bradley Simpson, James Brittain-McVey, Connor Ball, and Tristan Evans catapulting to a level of stardom that still has its place in playlists today.

Their latest album, Cherry Blossom, which was released in the height of the pandemic, was the reintroduction of the group after they decided to take a more ‘considered’ approach to music – but they promise there’s more on the way.

Now about to embark on their 10-year anniversary tour, the boys are reflecting on what it was like to get back together as a band again.

“We were constantly bringing stuff out for so long. It felt like we didn’t stop releasing for probably about five years,” Bradley tells us. “On the fifth album we just took our time, lived a bit of life, and I think we were inspired by what we were doing before the first album came out.”

The group settled for hiring out an Airbnb in the British countryside, in a bid to channel their emotions properly into Cherry Blossom, while they were in a more relaxed setting.

confidence to speak out.”

Despite touring the world and creating memories together, The Vamps are also creating a unique bond through supporting one another through the highs and lows of fame, and regularly taking time out to stay grounded.

“For me meditation has always been really cool and it can really help you out...I’m trying to do more of that,” says Bradley.

“We made sure that we were going to the pub, waking up going for walks and stuff. It was a wholesome way of writing,” Bradley adds. “I think now, our approach moving forward is going to be if you have that enjoyment in life, it seeps into the music.” However, James interjects abruptly: “I think we were on the cusp of getting banned!”

Taking time out of a formerly-gruelling schedule has allowed the foursome to pursue other passion projects too. Lead-singer Brad opened a gin bar with his family six years ago (but maintains that his speciality is an espresso martini), and bandmate Connor made an appearance on Dancing on Ice earlier this year, but they’re not intending to stop there.

“I’ll be diving into the cosmetic world, and hopefully people will hear about that soon, I love makeup” drummer, Tristan Evans, reveals of what’s to come. “I can’t wait for everyone to be able to see a different side of us and individual sides of The Vamps as well.”

In particular, 28-year-old guitarist James BrittainMcVey has been using his platform to open up conversations around mental health in young men. After he spoke about how his appearance on I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here worsened the effects of body dysmorphia he had suffered with since his teens, he was one of the first in the industry to publicly speak about its impact, standing in front of MPs in an inquiry on the impact of body image on physical and mental health.

“I’d speak to these guys about anything,” he says. “That’s normal for us. It’s hard for a lot of people finding that one person to speak to, and you don’t notice it, but they are there...they will listen.”

Bradley adds: “It’s a courageous thing to do. Once you see someone in a similar position, going through similar things, it gives other people the

“We went on a little trip away to Barcelona for a festival a couple of months ago and three of us sat on a rock and meditated, it was great.”

Tristan adds: “When you feel like pressure is building up inside you physically, simple breathing exercises work for me...taking yourself somewhere quiet and breathing in and out.”

Having started touring and living the hectic lifestyle that comes with being famous as young as 16, they’ve had plenty of time to adjust. In fact, aside from staying on top of their mental wellbeing, the boys insist they’ve matured as people along the way.

“I’d say we’ve matured physically. A couple more chest hairs!” says Bradley. “We know what we want now and we’ve got even more energy and experience.”

“I think you got to make music that’s representative of where you are in your life. I don’t know what it’s going to sound like but it’s definitely going to be However, different.”famecomes at a price, and a rather awkward one for drummer, Tristan, who’s insistent on sharing his most embarrassing moment from his ten years in The Vamps.

“Once when we were in India I was poorly, and there was a moment where I could have just s**t everywhere,” he says bluntly. It’s safe to say at this point, the room erupted into laughter. “Like my insides were at the point where they’re just about just destroyed and we were doing this thing on the biggest TV show in India.

“During the show there comes a time where I’m looking at the hosts like, ‘I need to I need to go, look, I need to go...otherwise I’m gonna s**t myself.’

We ended up being there for another 20 minutes and they started dancing and picking us up, and thankfully the guy went for James instead of me. “I would have 100% s**t myself in front of millions of people.”

As tour preparation gets underway, fans can expect big things – and you’ll be pleased to hear it’s not from Tristan’s tummy troubles. From chart topping anthems to James flying down from the ceiling during a guitar solo (no, really), it’s set to be their biggest string of shows yet.

“He’s been planning that for the last 10 years or so,” Connor jokes. “We’ve had fireworks out the end of the guitar before so it should be exciting.”

But that’s not all, because the band are also letting the crowd take control of what they play in a one-of-a-kind Vamps show like no other.

“We’re going to ask people what they want to hear so every show will be different and really interactive with the audience.

“Expect fire, fireworks, really cool screens and just a good vibe! I think we’re going to make this the best damn show that we’ve had. We love getting people dancing and singing together.”

And for those lucky enough to head backstage, you’re sure to see a ritual that’s been with them since day one – and it’s a far cry from the

conventional huddle.

If you look closely, Bradley, James, Connor, and Tristan can usually be found rubbing their chins together. “What do we do? Just make out with each other?” Tristan jokes when questioned on the odd idea. “How many seconds we rub chins for depends on what day it is in the month. So if it’s the 29th, we’re stood for a good 29 seconds.

“There was one gig where Connor had to go to hospital so wasn’t there, and we still made sure to get him on FaceTime and rub chins virtually.”

The connection The Vamps have both on and off stage is what makes fans so drawn to their warm personalities, and it seems that even after all this time, everything remains unchanged. “Being in The Vamps has taught us gratitude,” they collectively agree.

“We’ve tried to stay very grateful because not many bands get to 10 years in terms of friendship, let alone being able to release music and have the fans stick with us.

“We love what we do. We love the fact that we get to tour and release music...and we’ll always stay grateful.”

“IT’S HARD FOR A LOT OF PEOPLE FINDING THAT ONE PERSON TO SPEAK TO, AND YOU DON’T NOTICE IT, BUT THEY ARE THERE...THEY WILL LISTEN”

CAN MICRODOSEREALLYYOU WELLNESS?FOR

THROUGHOUT our lives it’s instilled into our brains that drugs equal bad. Taking too much in the long-term can have serious negative physical and mental effects, and one wrong trip could lead to tragedy. However, most notably across the pond where Silicon Valley entrepreneurs are trying to ‘hack’ their way to their best state of mind, microdosing is proving to be a Microdosinghit. by definition involves taking a drug at a far lower dose than what you’d need to feel its psychedelic effects.

‘Magic’ mushrooms, ketamine, and LSD are often used to give a short boost of serotonin and sharpen cognitive function, but the research is still very much at early doors.

Psilocybin is the active compound that makes ‘magic’ mushrooms hallucinogenic, and in 2019 the United States Food & Drug Administration designated it “a breakthrough therapy” for major depressive disorder, backing claims that it could be more than just a quick route to having a good time.

While a regular dose of LSD is about 100 micrograms, a microdose is taking only 10-20 micrograms.

Biohacking through tiny doses of psychedelic drugs is a Silicon Valley trend that experts suggest could have real, positive health effects. BLUSH investigates...

The concept seems new, however, research on the effects initially began in the late 60s – and a landmark 2020 study found that LSD enhanced the level of BDNF in the brain (for its 24 participants), which can be linked to treating depression.

So what can you expect from microdosing?

“When microdosing, much smaller dosages are taken in a ‘cycle’ days apart for subtle but long-lasting effects,” says Giulia Guerrini, the lead pharmacist for digital pharmacy medino.com.

“Typically, most people need at least two consecutive days off to not build a tolerance. Research on microdosing is being conducted with the intent to use these substances to help improve day-today living with beneficial outcomes.”

Hippies and 70s movies are stereotypically associated with psychedelic drugs to those who have little interaction with them in day-to-day life. However, LSD usage has increased from 0.9% of US adults in 2002, to 4% in 2019.“Our finding of an upward trend in 12-month LSD use, overall and by age,

“It’s been found that often there’s a very small percentage of psylocibin, if none at all, in shrooms bought illegally; some of those shrooms analysed contained a mix of THC, stimulants, morphine, and fluoxetine instead – in a few words, not the real deal,” advises Giulia.Nonetheless, those who take it are conflicted. For example, author, Ayelet Waldman, wrote in her 2017 book A Really Good Day about how her LSD journey had transformed her mindset in almost a month, after struggling through the symptoms of bipolar disorder (which was later re-diagnosed as premenstrual dysphoric“Whetherdisorder).it’sthe microdose, or the placebo effect, over the past month I have had many days at the end of which I looked back and thought, ‘that was a really good day’”, she writes.

RECIPE: SWEET POTATO PASTA WITH WALNUT ‘CHORIZO’

Serves: 2 | Time taken: 45 minutes

INGREDIENTS:

1 sweet potato, washed, dried and spiralized

1 tbsp plant-based butter

1 garlic clove, crushed

For the walnut ‘chorizo’

1 tbsp ground cumin

1 tbsp fennel seeds

200g (11⁄2 cups) walnuts, soaked for at least 1 hour and rinsed 100g (31⁄2oz) carrots (about 1 medium), peeled and chopped

100g sun-dried tomatoes, in oil (or soaked if dried) 50g (1⁄2 cup) black olives, 2pittedtbsp maple syrup

1 tbsp brown miso 2 tbsp rosemary oil 2 tbsp smoked paprika

For the crispy capers

3 tbsp capers, rinsed and patted dry

3 tbsp olive oil

METHOD:

Preheat the oven to 160°C fan (180°C/350°F/Gas 4).

Line a small baking tray with baking paper.

Walnut ‘chorizo’

Lauren Lovatt

1. Toast cumin and fennel seeds in a small frying pan over a low heat for 1 minute until they are lightly toasted.

2. Place the walnuts in a food processor or blender with the rest of the ingredients and the toasted spices and process into a crumb-like consistency

3. Spread the walnut mixture onto the lined tray, about 1cm (1/2in) thick and fairly tightly packed – if the mixture is too spread out it will dry out too quickly. Bake for 30 minutes until it looks gooey and darker in colour.

Capers

1. Heat the oil in a small frying pan over a medium–high heat until hot. Add the capers and cook for 3–4 minutes until crispy. Place the crispy capers on a piece of kitchen paper to absorb any excess oil.

2. Finally, make the sweet potato pasta. Fill a small saucepan with water and bring it to the boil with a pinch of salt. Add the sweet potato ribbons and cook for 1 minute until slightly soft, then drain.

3. Heat a frying pan over a medium heat with the butter and add the crushed garlic for 20 seconds, followed by the sweet potato pasta. Cook until coated in butter and hot but not too soft.

4. Turn the heat off the pasta and add a few tablespoons of the walnut ‘chorizo’. Twirl the sweet potato pasta onto your plate and sprinkle with crispy capers.

Lauren’s book, Mind Food: Plant-based Recipes for Positive Mental Health is out now.

GIRLSWHOlift

Strength training for women has boomed in popularity, and PT and founder of Feel Fit, Ellie Crawley, is showing us how it’s done

86 BLUSH | WINTER 2022 blushmagazine.org.uk BLUSH | HEALTH & FITNESS

Why should women be incorporating weights into their fitness routines?

Women should incorporate weights into their training for a number of reasons - not only to build muscle but to build confidence, mental strength and also for that feel good factor! There are many benefits to why we should all use weights in the gym, including increased bone reducingdensity, therisk of injury, improving sleep, maintainposture, improvingandtohelpahealthyrelationship with

food, body, and exercise.

You dont need much to get started, just one kettlebell or a set of dumbbells. You could even use resistance bands to start. Body weight can be just as effective, and you will build strength quicker than you think.

Why are more women now turning to strength training?

When I first started training it was frowned upon, and everyone thought women should just be in the cardio area or doing aerobics - this is something I never took up or stood for, and I always headed for the weight area - but didn’t necessarily always have the confidence.

It was a very male-dominated area. However, more and more women are using weights now, and we have some incredible role models out there. I think we are realising that we too can be strong, confident to lift and feel the benefits. It’s not a look shape, size, or gender and we all have the right.

Depending on how often you train will depend on how quickly you see the results, but also remember there are a lot of other factors to consider. We are all different and just because you lift like someone else, it doesn’t mean you will look the same at the end. Work on a programme that is suited to your ability and goals, and focus on the technique and form - when you lift correctly the benefits are far greater.

won’tBut... it make bulky?me

This is one of the many fitness myths that are out there that come with the stigma surrounding women lifting weights. No, it won’t make you big and bulky! Big and bulky muscles cannot be achieved without spending hours of consistent time in the gym focusing muscle building techniques and following a muscle-building diet - this is something that are actually really hard - the calories you have to eat is a lot and not something easily done. So, by including weights in your workout, I can promise you that unless that is the look you want, you won’t get big and bulky... but you will feel amazing!

Is there a particular diet to follow alongside training?

This depends (this is my answer to most things). We are all different and therefore your training and diet should be unique to you. Having that ‘balanced’ diet is key if you are looking for certain results. Increasing your protein intake to help build muscle and aid recovery is a good start. Training and eating in line with your monthly cycle is a good idea to get the best results and the most out of your body at all times. Work with it not against it.

you be able to lift will depend! It is down to each individual, so don’t put extra pressure on yourself. Start out learning the technique and form correctly and slowly increase the weights.

You can use smaller weights and incorporate them into any workout or routine you might be doing. The added resistance will make the workout slightly harder, but you will get stronger on the moves. Try something like functional training or even a Barre class.

To keep your workouts varied, try working with a trainer, either online or in person. Alternatively, follow a programme and switch it up every 6 - 8 weeks. Try a class that is strength or weight-based.

However you like! How heavy should

When we’re so caught up in the day-to-day, it can be difficult to stop and reflect on achievements and things that make us think “wow, that was pretty damn amazing”. So, we asked BLUSH readers to submit the stories they want to shout about to inspire us all to be the best versions of ourselves – because every win is a win.

I just secured my dream internship working in advertising and I’ll be moving out of my parents home and to London soon. I can’t wait to get started!

Ariene

I blocked his number. Shoutout to all my friends who had to say it too many times.

Mia

I graduated! It’s been a long time coming with Covid postponing it twice, but it was such a special day and what a way to round off my amazing time at uni. You may now call me doctor!

Ellen

I’ve actually managed to stick to my New Year’s resolution of going to the gym and taking better care of myself. I’ve fallen in love with yoga and adore taking self-care seriously, even if that means treating myself. It’s what we deserve, ladies!

Leah

Finally I finished watching Stranger Things after about two years. I swear those episodes get longer...

Mahaila

I’ve just hit six months vegan and I’m actually starting to enjoy it.

Beth

In a bid to try and be more financially-savvy (and eventually own my own house, fingers crossed), I’ve committed to selling at least two things a month I don’t wear anymore on Depop. It’s a small amount of money that will hopefully help massively long-term.
