EASA TOURIST 2019 - issue 2

Page 1

Hello my lovelies! The National evening was a lovely display of Swiss patriotism and European unity; and as always, this unity was taken to the very extreme by some of our lovely couples, finding ever more imaginative locations to play their love games; the backstage of the Grande salle was notably popular, but please remember to take your fairy lights off the next time you do the nasty in the dark. Outside, a special demonstration of oral skills took place for a small audience of smokers and a random guy on the phone, separated by nothing but a small bush, both physical and metaphorical - showing that sometimes, you just don’t care. Broken hearts abounded as well; we are told one of the organizers broke at least one heart, while a helper at the bar actually managed to make one of the tutors cry. And in the aftermath of National day, at least one hole was ruined; we hear the Diggy Hole got their hole filled by the workers from the nearby construction site. So if even after the events of National day you still need your hole filled, just travel to their worksite uphill, and stay as lovely and nasty as ever! XOXO OW GOSSIP C

A misjudgement of strength or quantity of one ingredient can ruin the result completely. On the other hand, using just one ingredient will lead to a very boring meal; adding a touch of s o m e t h i n g unconventional might lead to a delicious yet unpredictable result! (Consumption of Lysekil, 1997. Thank you EASA Archive!)

Send a postcard to your grandmother! Tell her you love her.

For this issue we collaborated with Penfriend to share their beautiful postcard collection with the EASA family. If you have not received one, don’t worry, in the coming days you’ll be able to buy your own postcard illustrated by Grégoire (the ginger baguette) as well as some custom made post stamps at the Info point. Meanwhile, turn the leaflet to read the handwritten letter with some useful tips!

Your unique and quirky character always attracts the right people (specifically, the ones with pockets full of cash!) you visit so you always gladly go back to your high school class reunions to tell your mates that no, you cannot design a house for them, because they definitely cannot afford it.

If your answers are mostly B, you are: Zaha Hadid

As an idealist, you always have a vision for how everything should be - of course, technically you cannot control some realistic aspects of life that may come your way but you would still really really really prefer if it turned out all to be your way. No pressure, though.
