GRIND

Hello everyone! Welcome to my world....the world of GrinderZZ. My name is Angie Christine, C.E.O of GrinderZZ 24/7 Magazine & TV. I am a mother, an author, a writer for Fuzionz Magazine/TV, actress and soon to be talk show host of my very own show titled "The Ultimate Surprise Show". When it comes to being a hard worker, I always strive to come out on top. I decided to create this magazine to applaud and to recognize all of the Grinders across the world who are out there doing their thing. These people come from various backgrounds, work trades, even different religions, but the one thing that makes them all the same is that they are hard workers. It takes a special person to become one. You have to eat, drink, and sleep your skills, your talents, and become that head honcho. I know you all will be very pleased at reading the different interviews and articles inside this special magazine. I would also love your feedback. If you would love to drop me a message, please send all inquiries to Angie_Christine@aol.com. Take care and keep grinding! (If you dream it, make it happen)

I AM SHARING ‘GOALS’ By Kim Fannin “The Blog Lady”

It’s a New Year! So, are you Really going to Set a Goal this year? What do you Want to happen? What do you Think will happen? I stopped making resolutions a long time ago. I would start out really good – then fall off the wagon. I think that’s what most of us do. I am a known procrastinator too, so that doesn’t help. And, I am good at beginnings. Eight years ago, I painted a background for a painting. I finally put something on it in 2017. Procrastination? Maybe – but I like to think of it as maybe I just wasn’t READY to finish it. I had to wait for the right muse to join me in my decision of what would go there. And – it turned out great! Better than I originally thought. So – maybe we don’t Need to Set Goals or Make Resolutions. Maybe we just need to think of things and then let them marinate and see what happens. Like making a good pot of soup – you need all of the right ingredients. I love to throw a bunch of stuff in the pot and see how it tastes when it’s done. Most times, I get lucky and it tastes great. But – if I added dish soap instead of chicken broth – the end result would probably be a Big YUCK! My son likes to say he’s like me – we work best under pressure. Ha! There may be something to that. Like this blog – I’ve known for quite a while I would write something – but I wasn’t ready – until the deadline passed. See – I KNOW what I’m talking about when it comes to procrastination. But – like I said before – my mind Marinates. So – to get back to my first question – are YOU going to set a goal? You should. It doesn’t mean you Have to Achieve that goal NOW. It just means You HAVE A GOAL. And – that’s a good thing. Never really give up on keeping your resolutions – just keep working on them. Let them soak and marinate. One day – you’ll have a winner. Me, I think I’ll keep my ideas marinating. I love to watch them twist and turn in my brain – trying to find their way out of the maze…. But – that’s another story.

Freddy: ning.

I got some turntables for Christmas of 1979 and just was pretty good from the begin-

GrinderZZ: Growing up who (hip hop artist) inspired you to make and do music? Freddy: Grand Master Flash and Grand Wizard Theodore. GrinderZZ: In Brooklyn growing up as a kid, i remember everybody going to the park and battling each other in rhymes. Did you ever participate in any battles and won? Freddy: Yes indeed. That was part of the culture and, fortunately, we won every one, but all of them were in Brooklyn....that’s how we got the name The Mighty Mic Masters.

GrinderZZ: When did you decide to put together your group, Freddy B and the Mighty Mic Masters? Freddy: After leaving the group Dynamite 2, in 1983, some local Emcees came to me and wanted me to become part of there group called the Mic Masters. GrinderZZ: Do you and the fellas still stay in touch? Freddy: Yes, we do and talk about old war stories. GrinderZZ: Recently you and mega music producer, Angel Speed Colon collaborated on a album that has been getting a lot of great ratings. Can you tell us about the album? You two were working on some music together. How has Chuck touched your life as a musician and as a business partner/friend? Freddy: He’s from the first generation of Hip-Hop and very good. I used to go to the parties and see him preform with the Jazzy 5 with Jazzy Jay. He was a part of my inspiration; a good dude. RIP bro! GrinderZZ: Any future tours/shows coming up in 2019? Freddy: Well, Speed and I just finished the Mixtape CD release date is January 9,2019 called Freddy B and Friends. To all the real Hip-Hoppers!!! Peace and Love Again a huge shout out to the legendary Freddy B! Thank you so much for this interview. Peace and Blessings to you.

Tamara Egypt Whyte ON HER GRIND I was very touched to do this story, because it hits home tremendously. Tamara Egypt Whyte is like family to me....... better yet she is family. From 1985 to 89, I had the honor of attending Sheepshead Bay Highschool with this Princess father, Cecil Whyte. When Cecil reached out to me telling me about his beautiful daughter, and how much of a hard worker she is, I felt it was a need for me to add her to the GrinderZZ 24/7 family. Tamara is a 17 year old who hails from Brooklyn New York, and already she has been working hard to achieve greatness. Tamara attends Spring Creek Community high school in Brooklyn, and she is a real delight to her teacher's and peers. Tamara loves school so much, that she hasn't missed a day from her institution. When she's not grinding in school, Tamara works at the busy McDonald’s near South Shore high school in Brooklyn. Her dreams after college is to become a social worker because she wants to make a big impact on helping kids who are less fortunate. This is why she helps tutor and mentor younger kids in her neighborhood. So far there are 2 major colleges she is considering attending, but he knows she has to narrow it down to one. Buffalo State, and Penn State are the two, and if it was up to her father Cecil, he would rather her pick Penn State. He explained to GrinderZZ 24/7 magazine, "It's a 2 to 3 hour ride, but when it comes to the education of their child, Cecil and his wife Diane would drive to the highest mountain in order for their daughter to have the best education. When Tamara gets the chance to have some downtime, she binge watches Netflix. Besides being one day a social worker, she also is thinking about modeling. Family and friends have already told her she has the looks, so all she should get started on that second dream, and full filling it the max. Her biggest influences are Tyra Banks, and RuPaul. Tamara Egypt Whyte is willing and ready to be the best person she can be in whatever field she clings onto the most. Tamara gives her glory to God, and that's what keeps her grounded. If anyone is interested in contacting Tamara Egypt Whyte for any help mentoring children, or modeling, you can reach by email at rhino3490@gmail.com

THE ULTIMATE SURPRISE This past weekend, I had the pleasure filming some drops (commercials), and conducting an interview with actress/director/acting coach, Angela Gibbs. If the last name rings a bell, it's because she is the daughter of the beautiful and legendary actress, Marla Gibbs (The Jeffersons, 227). Angela will be my co-host on the show i have been developing for the past 4 years called, The Ultimate Surprise Show. This show will be like no other that's out there, and the theme to the show is.....bringing the American family back to the dinner table again. Angela and I have amazing stories that are real tear jerkers, so each and every show, our audience will be provided a box of kleenex. I decided to bring along my two daughter's, Briana Zalamar and Demetria Crandell so they can share into my experience. Angela Gibbs brought along her sister Yolanda as well to help out with the filming. My close friend/cousin Tee Lane Wofford did an amazing job filming the entire project. We all were ecstatic, and pleased with the ending results. 2019 will be our year.....the year for the Ultimate Surprise Show.

Chatting It Up With Comedian Bo Last Name Dacious

When I first learned about this guy right here, I had just moved to Virginia from New York. There were a couple of comedians who were on the scene in the Hampton Roads area, and everyone was raving about Bo Dacious. I never had the pleasure of seeing him perform, but people told me he is funny as hell. I decided to add him to the GrinderZZ family. Let's talk with Mr. Bo Dacious. GrinderZZ: Hey dude, welcome to the GrinderZZ 24/7 Magazine studio. Please tell the audience a little about yourself.... Bolastname: Growing up in the hood was fun. I was an only child till about 12yrs old. I knew early on I wanted to be an entertainer, but comedy definitely was not what I expected. I felt I’d be a singer or rapper, but I know entertainment was in my future as a child. GrinderZZ: How was it like growing up as a kid? Bolastname: Growing up with a white mother and black father in the hood, early 80’s, I was the butt of many jokes so I had to get sharp and learn how to fire back. Once I did, I knew I was funny. I also didn’t play fair as I would bring up personal things about folk to keep ‘em off me! GrinderZZ: Did you ever do any crazy and funny things to any teacher's or student's while you were in school? Bolastname: I did many funny and cruel things to friends and teachers. I put a lit firecracker in one my friends back pocket and watched it blow a hole in his corduroys! I always imitated teachers as well.

GrinderZZ: What comedians were your biggest influences? Bolastname: Hate to say this now but Bill Cosby was a huge influence on me as a comic. A little sad he turned out to be what he is currently. I also loved Eddie Murphy and George Carlin GrinderZZ: When did you do your 1st show, and how many people attended? Bolastname: I got my nerve to get on stage at a def jam night at a spot called Comedy House theater o. My hometown of Norfolk. Packed house too. My jokes bombed cause I could’ve remember em but I imitated Luther vandross and they forgave me. I know I was destined GrinderZZ: Have you ever had the chance to open up for any famous comedians Bolastname: I’ve worked with just about every famous comic....Dave Chappelle, Mike Epps, Sommore, Ced The Entertainer, Monique, Paul Mooney, Kevin Hart just to name a few. GrinderZZ: What also got my attention to you was the time you wrote on Facebook how blessed you were and how much you thanked God for helping you out. You indicated that you were homeless. How did you feel when God finally heard your cries for help? Bolastname: Yes, I was homeless for a spell, but I don’t think God answered my cries for help. I honestly believe that I had to go thru that valley in my life to arrive at the destination I’m at. Hardships can’t be prayed away in my humble opinion. Valleys are a part of life and being at a low point gave me a new appreciation for life and there moderate success I have now. GrinderZZ: What advice would you give somebody right now who wants to break out into the comedian entertainment field, but they don't know where to start? Bolastname: right now we are in a period of stand up comedy not really being stand up comedy ya dig? The new wave dudes are making short videos that are somewhat funny are being mistaken for comedians. Real comedians stand flat footed on stage and deliver well polished material, no gimmicks. My advice to someone wanting to be a comedian, write down your thoughts of what you believe to be humorous, work or out and find a stage. Rinse and repeat. You’ll know if your passionate about it to pursue. This is a very difficult business and the weak will be weeded out quickly. GrinderZZ: How can the fans or venues reach you?

Bolastname: My social media handle is @BoLastName on twitter, Facebook and Instagram GrinderZZ: Any last words? Bolastname: My last words are keep God in ya life, find what you’re most passionate About in life and do that shit! Help others along your path. Mr. Bo Dacious, i we here at GrinderZZ 24/7 Magazine would again like to thank you for your time. Keep shining, and keep grinding.
