CARING FOR YOUR FLOODED LEAD-ACID BATTERIES

Strange as it may sound, flooded lead-acid batteries are somewhat like plants. They need to be charged just as plants need to be fertilized. They need to be watered but not overwatered. They are affected by the temperature, and they need careful monitoring during dormant periods. Further, neglect and mistakes can damage or even kill them. You probably know how important it is to properly maintain your flooded lead-acid battery. But you may not know the common maintenance mistakes that may damage or even destroy it. Yet knowing what NOT to do to your battery is as important as knowing what to do.
