EDITOR'S LETTER

It's my favourite time of the year: Face of London Runway season!

There's a quick update for you on the next page or so about what we've been up to so far and what's coming next Be sure to check that out as we speed towards the finale in August! It seems like it's a long way away, but trust me - it goes fast

Spring has definitely been in the air here in the UK and we also, dare we say it, feel the first breath of summer with some lovely sunny days already under our belts.

That can only mean we're about to hit some of the exciting events that warm weather brings, starting with Pride month - in honour of which, you're currently reading the Rainbow Issue!

We've never done a Pride issue before, just the same way as we never really do any theme that relates to a certain minority. The reason for this is that we champion diversity all year round, not just for one month and not just for one issue It's part of the commitment we made right back at the beginning of the London Runway journey While things have changed a lot around here and most of our content comes from outside contributors these days, we always welcome submissions that show as much diversity as possible

So, why now? Well, it seems to us that the world is changing right now (as it always does) - but maybe not in a good way We're seeing a tide of pushback against liberal views, some of it prompted by celebrity figures who should know better (and have no business being so interested in other people's genitals, nor any qualifications to speak on the subject)

Anyway, most of our submitters have interpreted the theme in a literal way this month with all the colours of the rainbow on full display for you here Check out the bright pops of colour that we found at Pure London and our rainbow-themed editorials.

For a more symbolic interpretation, check out our Style (Conscious) Guide for a few ideas on how to represent your pride flag with your fits We've got a couple more editorials also offering pure sex appeal, one with a hearty serving of forbidden fruit

The warm weather gives us a sense of renewed hope - bringing to mind summer barbecues, beach holidays, and afternoons in the park with friends Friends, I'm a mother these days, so I'll give you the most motherly advice in these warm months: don't forget to wear sunscreen, carry a reusable water bottle, and stay hydrated

Oh - one last thing: did you watch Eurovision? I don't know about you, but I always enjoy watching the show and checking out the fashion choices It's like a mini, not-so-star-studded Met Gala The theme? Always the same: pure Eurovision

Funnily enough, those who personify the theme the best often don't end up actually winning the show. Cases in point this year: Finland, Germany, Croatia.

I did enjoy, however, the winner Sweden's excessive use of fingernails
