THE LION'S DEN SCC 7s - Rugby A fantastic achievement for Tanglin Rugby this weekend, with our 14&U and 19&U teams winning the SCC 7s Schools and Colleges tournament at The Padang. Our 14&U team beat a strong ACS(I) 19-5, before the 19&U overcame UWCE 15-10 in a tense finish to cap a throughly successful tournament for Tanglin. The 17&U squad almost made it a treble, but finished 2nd behind deserved winners ACS(I). A huge well done to all the boys and coaches for their efforts throughout the weekend.

THE LION'S DEN Phoenix Invitational - Swimming Over the weekend, a team of 58 swimmers represented Tanglin Merlions at UWC Dover for the Phoenix Invitational. We achieved over 95% personal best times and gained plenty of racing experience as a team. This being their first external meet of the term, swimmers had the opportunity to race alongside swimmers from Singapore American School, Nexus, North London Collegiate School and UWC Dover. The highlight of the meet is our 10&U mixed relay team, which consists of Sarah , Benoit, Gabrielle and Ives, smashing their seed time and coming in 1st. Special mention to our young 9 year olds - Hana and Monty who crushed 3 out of 3 races to achieve very competitive timings in their age group. Ahaan and Penelope, who are in the 11-12 age group also achieved 100% Personal Best times. It was a very successful swim meet overall.
