Since 2012, Masconsumption has aimed to broadcast the vibrant, and emerging artist community offering events, media services, media educational programs, and overall coverage of the Valley Arts District. This includes Luna Stage theater reviews, event coverage, artist interviews and more.


WHAT IS THE SCENE? The Scene is a network of local businesses, endorsed, promoted and marketed by Masconsumption Media via social media, blogs, newsletter and more. Patricia Rogers (ValleyGirl_NJ) will serve as a brand ambassador for your business/brand/art, etc.

WHO IS VALLEY GIRL NJ? Valley Girl_NJ is the social handle of Masconsumption creator Patricia Rogers. She is 26 years old, and originally from New York City. She brings her experience, and cool city girl vibe to the valley arts district. Over the years, after working with Molly Rose Kaufman in community organizing, with HANDS, inc. working at Hat City Kitchen, and getting a start at former emerging artist studio ORNG Ink. She has been able to position herself as the ultimate ambassador and leader of a new wave of culture taking over the streets of the Valley.


Patricia has extensive journalism, media and writing experience. Getting her start at 11 with Children’s Pressline, and on to writing for New Youth Connections, and Ted Express in high school. After studying English Literature at Le Moyne College she came to the Valley in 2011 as an AmeriCorps VISTA with HANDS, Inc. She founded Masconsumption after becoming an artist-in-resident at ORNG Ink and now blogs about the Valley Arts District for Jersey Indie and other local blogs and publications.
